I like this idea, catenation instead of summing, it makes the order relevant.

If you take standard fibonacci with zero index, then in fact 10=>55, 7=>13, 5=>5, 3=>2
Which is 551352, which could be "HIP 55135", 2nd planet. I have no idea if such a planet exists as I'm out it the void at the moment, but it's a much nearer star to Sol than HIP 34831.

Congratulations everyone! Fascinating to follow your thought processes and see all the efforts come together. The Rift gives up its secrets. I've been monitoring progress here, on twitter, fb groups, reddit and discord... Some amazing thinking and deductive work.

Props to Fdev for enhancing the end result with the new v2.3 capabilities too. We thought it would be more interesting this way.

And the book will make mention of your combined exploits. Hope you enjoyed the story... The last chapter remains...

It's been noted that the log date of the Zurara (10/1/3270) matches with the date of several of the Rift bases logs, specifically mentioning an unexpected signal?

Pasting in all 10/1 logs from the Chronological timeline created by Jaiotu linked in the front page of this thread.

Formidine Rift Beta Mission
Picked up some kind of signal yesterday and it looks like the crew weren't expecting it. Got them proper rattled. There's definitely something very strange about this area of space. Won't be sad to turn around and head home.

Formidine Rift Gamma Mission
We picked up some kind of bizarre signal yesterday. Whatever it was wasn't human. At least, that's the scuttlebutt going around the decks. Everyone is looking out of the canopies now. We're seeing some strange lights during hyperspace transits. Terror? Yeah, we got some of that ...

Hawking's Gap Gamma Mission
I'm logging this, but I shouldn't be. Bunch of guys were talking about the beacons yesterday and then there was a mysterious accident in the airlock - they're all dead! Feeling aboard is mutinous. Just want to get back home. I ain't doing no top secret missions again, that's for sure.

Hawking's Gap Delta Mission
Cargo is being deployed. A series of artefacts of some kind. The handling bods aren't part of the ship's crew, so we don't know what they're doing. Captain has told us to turn a blind eye and wait for them to be done.

Conflux Beta Mission
"Witch-space once again. We're almost to our destination in the Conflux area now. That's odd... looks like... can't be!
You can't be interdicted in witch-space... that's impossible! We're back in normal space. Systems off-line, no power, what in Randomius is that..."​

Of course! We still dont know for sure who is behind it, or what the reasons are. Those responsible of this horrendous act need to be held accountable and explain themselves. Hopefully Salomé has the information about that...

But nevertheless, now, after all this time, we finally know the secret the old woman knew, the mystery of the formidine rift. I feel that deserves to be celebrated :D

Oh I'm a MORON. The log after was by the old woman. But still... what's worse than the thargoids? Or are we about to find out?

The 2012 movie vibe where everything was kept hidden and those arks were being built in secret... this reeks of something similar to that. I bet when the disaster happens, Sirius will come out with their new hyperdrives that are hyperdiction resistant and much longer jump ranges. They're going to make a profit selling it to refugees while jumping ship at the last possible moment.

So when my character says that what she might unveil may create a wind of panic...is not so far from truth... if things were kept hidden , it's because to ensure a safe preparation of the possible exodus to come , you don't need running lemmings between your legs ( no offence intended of course , i think you'll catch my thoughts).....

The big question is : was this preparation an order from a gathering of the 3 superpowers or , were the superpowers themselves unaware of this ( at that would be fearsome) . But I doubt the second idea , as I feel that Salomé discovered that all was organised by the 3 SP behind people's back, within the imperial archives....

I think the superpowers are largely unaware. Sirius corporation is the one that knows. Too much circumstantial evidence.
