Found a system with 8 stars!

Don't know how common this is, but on my way to the core (I'm 10k ly away from it) I stumbled upon a system with 8 stars. I had never seen so many stars in one system!

To top it off, its a system with a Herbig Ae/Be star, which I also don't see that often. [big grin] Just a pretty neat find I thought to share with other explorers. How many stars have you found in one system? :)

Very cool find! I've been mostly on the southern rim and getting tired of finding dwarfs with lots of tiny ice worlds and single star only systems, lol.

Eight stars "horizontally" isn't super rare. Eight stars "vertically" is a bit more rare... :D

(What the fliuch is the matter with the forum labelling all jpg's as invalid files these days? Maybe some better error messages to tell us why images can't be uploaded?)

There's a tourist beacon about 1,200 ly "east" of the bubble, inside a planetary nebula. Erm... "Nebula's Heart" in CD-26 1339. I'm not in-game at the moment to confirm numbers, but as I recall there are two rows, each with about eight stars, plus a black hole in the middle.

I'll have to check it out once I get back to the bubble!
