Is there a reason?

Is there a reason for so little information about the PS4 release? I know we have heard that PR has plans and all but with us now 2 weeks from release I am starting to wonder if saying so little about it will reflect in the effort they put toward bringing it to PS4.

Don't get me wrong. I have it pre-ordered and I plan to put in many hours playing. I just have my fingers crossed that we will not get a watered down attempt to bring the game to PS4. When I saw the schedule of games that the official Playstation stream has over the next few days from E3 and saw no ED, it was worrisome. Just my concerns is all.

Your guess is as good as anyone's. I feel exactly the same. I am super excited for Elite on PS4 and I will too put many hours into it. Really disappointed with FDev's engagement with the PS4 community though, even today the icing on the cake, while ignoring the clamour for PS4 info announcing a day one patch for 4k on the Xbox One X. Good news for Xbox One X and potentially good news for PS4 Pro but the silence is deafening.

I was the one telling Stormy, "Wait until E3, hopefully we'll hear / see more about ED for PS4 then." Well the "E3" live stream (in quotes because it had no E3 in it whatsoever) said nothing about the PS4. Last night was Sony's E3 event, and they showed some obscure indie developer games, but nothing from Frontier..

So I'll repeat my lovely bit of wit - the kid down the street selling lemonade has better marketing than Frontier!

Yeh, we all are. I am not negative for the game one bit, super hyped for it still, really want to play it and know its going to absorb too much of my time, my missus won't be happy. I know this. She might end up murdering me.

Its just the way FDev have handled the run up to launch, in my opinion, could use improvement. I am sure others will disagree and that's fine.

Yep, I'm desperatly craving to fly in open, endless, unihabited space again. I was a bit of an elite junkie on XB1 and the PS4 has rekindled my old habbits lol.

I atleast want too know about flightstick support if nothing else, Do I need tio invest in a new flight stick or not Frontier?

it's not like we are asking for anything they can't give just a video of ps4 game play right now, would make us feel a little more wanted and appreciated than we do now. plus training missions or a demo wouldn't hurt either

Maybe they have nothing to add to what was already said? Not trying to be rude but I can't think of anything they haven't said. Is there something specific PS4 players are expecting to hear more about?

I don't necessarily need to hear more, as in more information (something new), but a simple, "Hey PS4 gamers, just two weeks left until launch, are you excited?" today would have gone a long way. It's almost like "PS4" is a swear word in GB English. Or perhaps it's like Beatlejuice....

PS4.. PS4. PS4!!!!!
