Yeah I mean he is talking about getting a Pro which we know will run better. It's not like we're talking about buying a 4K when we know 4K won't be available at launch ;-)

honest....Waiting will always result in cheaper, but your PS4 will be worth less to sell on. Spend what you are happy spending, if you are happy with the Slim/OG then thats cool. Its all good. As we started off before we knew details, no snobbery, the game is going to play great on all PS4s. I am sure.

LOL Mine couldn't even tell the difference between SD and HD when I got my HD tv 10 years ago. My eyes rolled so hard at her I nearly detached my retinas...
Yes I will end up getting the Pro at some point but it isn't the first thing on my list. I think if FD ever made ED compatible with PSVR I would rather spend money on that. Can't imagine playing this game with VR goggles, it would be amazing. But if my ps4 ever died for any reason then I would just get the Pro.
The ps4 has a save to usb function, basically for backups. It is not very fast, but once you have backed up your ps4 on a flash drive. Insert it in your pro, and go to settings to install backup. Yes it takes a while, but you don't loose anything. Ps plus has a cloud, but I am not sure how much space one has available. Easier to do on a flash drive.
I just upgraded to the Pro today!
I traded in my 2 year old ps4 and dozens of ps4 games I've either completed (or had no intention of completing), my 2 old ps3's which were sitting gathering dust in the cupboard (plus all the PS3 games) and finally a very old Xbox 360 Elite (with around 20 games).
Not only did I have enough for a brand new PS4 Pro but i also had over £200 left over which has gone onto a gift card. Even the wife is happy!!!!

I upgraded from PS3 to PS4Pro. I wanted the PS4 but my wife convinced me to invest in a PS4Pro. I'm blessed with a wonderful wife.
does your wife have a sister, is she single?
She has a couple of sisters, all married.

I wasn't planning on it, I told myself months ago that I'd get a pro or ps5 whenever my current ps4 dies.. but after watching the ED stream last night, I totally caved in. Went in town today and traded in my PS slim and 3 games, upgrade cost was £105 ..ouch.. but I think it'll be worth it with a better frame rate!
