Hardware & Technical best joystick

hello can anybody tell me which joystick is the best for playing the game. one that will just plug in and be close to being right.
Well, the dev's use x52 as standard and a huge chunk of player base here has x52 pro. It has everything you will need already mapped out. I'd go for x52 pro if you want out of box no remapping of keys.
Of course everyone has a preference. I am using a CH Products Throttle + T16000M
How do you like the T16000M? Is that the one you can use with either hand? Had been thinking of playing with two sticks, but not sure if the binding would work.
Been using a T.Flight X HOTAS but ultimately ignoring the throttle portion in lieu of a keyboard. Really like the idea of two sticks though.
Additional note: AFAIK the in-game stick and throttle in the virtual cockpit is modeled to somewhat resemble the Saitek x52 Pro. So if you end up playing on the Oculus Rift there is some potential (though slight) increase in immersion because your real hands can feel what your eyes see in VR. This is likely the reason for me to ultimately get that HOTAS when I have money again.
That being said: As a temporary solution I use a super cheap Thrustmaster-T-Flight-Hotas, which does work.
Also my personal recommendation is getting a HOTAS with a twist stick. (like the x52 or x52 pro for example) Some of the more high-endish ones don't have that because real planes don't have it as well and the really expensive sticks are often modeled to imitate real fighter controls. I have tried pedals before, but for me and my ability to coordinate my hands it really works much better when I have all directional controls (pitch, roll and yaw) in a single hand instead of controlling yaw with my feet or the left hand. If you never used a HOTAS and consider one of those really high quality models without twist stick I'd really recommend testing before whether that works for you.

The Fly 5 is probably a lot less expensive as the ones stated above but sertainly does the job for me for now. I got it for play testing World of warplanes and didnt want to go overboard in case I wouldnt like the game and have a expensive joystick gathering dust.
If I really am going to play Elite on a more than average basis I would opt for one of the units stated above.
Nice plus for the Fly 5 is that it fits nice to my RAT7 Mouse and is easily adjustable for argonomics like the mouse is.
Slight downside is that is rather light and can easily be lifted of the desk. I am probably going to fix it to a old hard metal mouse pad from Razer I still have and will clamp that to my desk when I play.
But further it works a treat has a cool blue LED at the POV so even playing in the dark and you have to look down on it you can still make out wich buttons to click.
