Release Trade Computer Extension Mk.II

Hi bAdbUd,

Thanks for explaining that, I hadn't noticed the option in TCE but since you mentioned it I have.:D

I noticed that on github there is a 64 bit version, would it be better to use that?

The new TCE-Relay ...

That's not quite correct and could lead to confusion.

There is no new TCE-Relay to be clear. The tool, created by the user Flat, doesn't work anymore for commodity price updates.
TCE-Relay is now only for creating an initial database, but will be replaced completely by TCE in one of the next full versions.
The initial database can be updated thereafter by the new EDDB Relay, which I created.

That is not required. It will be removed in one of the next full releases of TCE, so stick with the version, which was released with TCE.

Hi Eventure,

OK, that answers my question regarding TCE-Relay but I am confused as to where to get and how to use the EDDB Relay?

The EDDB-Relay site has a number of .csv files, are they what I need to use once a day.

If so how do I get that data into TCE, please?

Or is your version a different item?

Thanks,

Ah well the gist is correct, but the naming was wrong.

It's currently in Beta testing phase, so not available for general release just yet.

Hello everyone,

because the beta phase will come slowly to end, I like to announce, that TCE will be changing from a 32-bit to 64-bit application with the next release.
It is required to have the Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 SP1 Redistributable Package (x64) installed on your system to be usable. I have added it to the Prerequisites section at the first post.

Sounds good! I would imagine most people are already using 64 bit.

Hello Eventure,

found some untranslated things in the commodity database like the: Azure Milk, Kinago Violins, AROUCA CONVENTULA SWEETS....there are some more, but i don't find them on the translation site to translate them.

Thx for your great work, can't wait the next release :)

There is no translation for the 137 rare commodities actually, but if you like to help, I will add it in one of the next releases.
Will post a link to the rare commodity translation project, when ready.

TCE - Windowed (Non-Overlay) Version Request

Eventure,

Now that the Oculus Rift has released their "Dash", would it be possible to get a version of TCE that runs in a window or windows rather than as an overlay?

The VR user could then "tear" (Rift's term) the window from the desktop and into the VR environment. At present, the desktop can be shown within the environment with TCE shown. However, being able to show only the TCE elements would greatly enhance the immersion.

Keep up the good work! Thanks for the excellent tool!

I have opened now a new translation project for Rare Commodities in TCE.

TRANSLATION PROJECTS:

Updated also the Interface project with new phrases for the upcoming release.

All panels, including the main interface are windows, transparent, without head, but windows.

Hello Eventure,

i translated the most Rare Commodities into German, maybe someone can see over it and post some corrections. On some words i'm not sure about the correct translation.

Thanks,
we should translate them all as they appear in the game, so there is no interpretation. Most names are clear, but some others are not. So trucking around to the spots of these my be a good idea.

Hey Commanders,

had a little time to create a new design for the Trade Overview panel. This is all work in progress.
UUC5X5L.png
The dot lines are not visible in the end. Economy, allegiance, security and station type icons will change for each station. Only icons for services will be shown, which are available. Others are not visible.

Please comment, if you like the new design or the plain old version.
Thanks in advance.
