Single key views

I know this has been mentioned numerous times before but I'm not aware of any official response to the following:

How easy would it be for FD to give us the ability to have one key/button assigned to a particular view? I.e. outside rear view, view up/down etc.

That's without having to access the camera suite first.

Seems a waste of a feature that was useful on the old version.

Unlike the original Elite where you had those views I think it's an intentional decision not to allow that for combat mechanics "reasons".

I appreciate they may have their reasons for deliberately not doing it for something like combat but it would be useful for docking, only due to the stupid npcs and restricted view of other players also trying to dock.
