Though if you have a carefully constructed set of relationships in your home system, you might want to travel a distance before committing yourself to a life of crime briefly. While the bounties will be wiped, the reputation with factions will not.

That is, of course, if you even care about faction relationships. If not, carry on, fine CMDRs.
