Downloading Beyond 3.0

So I updated the launcher on the PC, clicked update and it took about 5 minutes to get into the game. Fire up my ED PS4 account and it takes 39 minutes to download 10.7GB. Given my Internet connection at 225 Mbps it is all about Sony and limiting the download speed. I've seen this with other games besides ED. I wonder what was the download time on the Xbox?

I believe it will have more to do with the multi threaded download option being available on Pc?

Did you have beta access on PC? If yes and you didn't wipe these files it significantly accelerates the download. Was always that way. The download is just a diff in this case. I know nothing about the PS4 version. Did they even have their own Beta?

I always keep the Beta files but with my fast internet connection and lots of storage (15 terabites) I never notice a difference. No, the PS4 did not have a Beta. This will always be a PC test per all the options consoles do not have especially with 3rd party additions from voice packs to VR. If it works on a PC it is going to be great on a console.
