I know, it's not a 5-digit seller, but it does usually fetch a reasonably high-4 digits. And whenever Mining Missions are restored, is a pretty prime Mining Mission item, which usually means it fetches a much-higher-than-market price.

Should move Painite to rocky belts. Then you again have the three Ps for metallic ones. Rocky belts are pointless as they are, Painite would give them at least a purpose for "spelunking" like diamonds for ice belts. Metallic belts would still turn out the highest average for bulk miners.

There is the "Mining Improvements" segment of Beyond in the works.

Personally, I'd like to see some of the Unobtanium added to things like Rocky rings - Jadite, Taaffeite, Moissanite - these would make excellent additions to the, yes, otherwise pointless, Rocky rings/Asteroid Belts.

Agreed.

But metal-rich rings have become pointless now as well. The small increase in materials with 3.0 has resulted in making nearly every roid labelled medium. But the yield per medium roid has dropped (in metal-rich rings anyway), resulting in less materials.

I'm normally the first to suggest trying some variety in mining, but right now, I think there is zero reason to mine anywhere except pristine-metallic.
