Repeat the same Guardian unlock 18 times? Really?

What facts are wrong? There was a user Aussiedroid stating the same thing:

"I've perhaps spent 8 hours over 2 days on the mission, puzzle & prep, and have yet to unlock a module. I'm sure I am not min-maxing the puzzle & site, and I am collecting a lot of other guardian stuff, but those blueprint stall the whole process! Makes it much longer than it should be IMO."

I had the same experience, only left a small amount Guardian segments i think.

So, back to the questions:

Can you unlock more than 1 blueprint in one site? How?
How many sites are there and how many blueprints?

Oddly enough the "facts" I pointed out as being wrong are the ones that are in fact wrong.

Jesus Christ, it's like talking to a parrot...
Gotta love those gems of the forums

you keep saying it takes too long to get, 1h+ and what not.. yet you spent 10x times here in forum whinging about it.. if you had played the game instead of banging your head here you'd had unlocked all of them by now.

He already admitted making the twenty hours thing up.

Yeah, the 20 hour thing I pulled was meant for unlocking all Guardian tech.

Looks like I gave too low of a estimated number, because you thought I was talking about a single blueprint unlock.

EDIT: and yet the questions are still unanswered:

Lol. So much fail in the above sentence that i trully cannot compute at the moment. Give this fine person a prize.

If you don't like the engineers don't use them, it's hardly rocket surgery.

No I didn't.

EDIT : as for your edit you are making things up again.

Meanwhile I've been having a blast with the guardian stuff for months.

Again Stigbob, we are glad that you enjoy it. Many people do not due to how repetitive and grindy it is.

If a minority enjoy content but a majority does not, does that mean it is designed satisfactorily, or that it could use improvement?

Yea i know.. the same stupid and only argument, that you and the others like you, can use to defend the stupid grind that we have instead of engaging gameplay. But i guess the grind does work on teenagers so..

I don't know if it's a good idea to give a single person spotlight who find this stuff enjoyable, because FD might get an idea that there is an equal devide of players who enjoys the mechanic and who don't. Meanwhile the majority of the playerbase I think (in my opinion, not a fact, pointing out for the smart guys) skipped the Guardian blueprint stuff entirely or unlocked 1 or 2 and moved on. I would really love to see the real statistics, maybe I'm completely wrong.

I just tried to make a meaningful discussion at the beggining and derailed into some kind of stupid one liners who is better at making a comeback. This is completely insane and wastes developers time if they have to filter through all the garbage in the thread. Of course, in the end it's my fault as well.

EDIT: It's a possibility of trolling as well, which was quite successful if so...

So was there anything official announced about this or has someone just bumped the thread to see?

Havent seen anything official since they said they were going to look at it.

I think it will be. It was stated by FD in some Livestream or at Lavecon, also mentioned by Obsidian that FD stated about the sped up process for Guardian blueprints.
Though not sure if they meant for the new ones only or also include old ones.

Unfortunately there were some problems but it is on the way. Just wait.

How grindy they claim it is, not how grindy it is. There's a world of difference between the two.

FDEV can see the stat's, most people who've unlocked guardian stuff just get on with the game. As we can see from the last few pages the "concerns" seem to be largely made up on the spot. So majority is just your entirely subjective opinion.

If you choose to approach the entertaining video game in a stupid grindy way that's your own fault and problem. I find it funny that you do that, and funnier that you then complain about it and seem aghast that you don't get any sympathy from people who don't do it.

There are 45 pages of people complaining about it before you came in and decided to completely ignore those comments and claim that it's not. You are entitled to your own opinion, of course but keep in mind that so far in this thread you are the minority, based on those previous comments.

Where is the hard data that prove that? I could just as easily claim the opposite is true. We don't have the actual data, only FD do. What we can deduce can only be based on the facts in this thread and one of the facts is that most people are complaining about how grindy the guardians modules/weapons are. This fact is based on the number of comments in the previous 45 pages. You are entitled to your own opinion but don't discount everyone else's.

Yeah, ok...the fact that it's not grindy for you is just an exception, not the norm, as you claim it to be. Nothing wrong with having your own opinion but you can't come here a month after the last comment and claim that everyone feels the same as you do, discounting all the previous comments that are saying otherwise.

Obviously there are players fed up with repetitive gameplay.
This is a vehicle based space sim.
There is no meaning outside upgrading ships, transporting goods, discovering celestial bodies, ship combat.
That gameplay must be rewarding and not feel stale and repetitive.

Now, say “maybe I should stop whining again, I dare you!”

Bloody Dinos.
