PSVR Support

Hi Peeps,

PSVR is in desperate need of longer titles and would greatly benefit from having Elite enter the market. I personally own the game on PC but do not have PCVR as of yet, I do however have PSVR, if Elite was to get PSVR support I for one would gladly purchase a second copy to be able to experience the game in VR!

Personally I feel just a rudimentary head look in VR with the existing DualShock4 support would be sufficient enough although I would never say no to Move support either. �� Skyrim VR is one of my favourite games on the system currently and I have no doubt that Elite would top it since I just adore space!

Please consider us!

Ever since playing the original Elite I've wanted a VR version. As I only have PSVR being able to play it on that would be a dream come true.

PSVR support for Elite: Dangerous

Came here to second this request! There are a ton of PSVR owners I've seen on Reddit who have said they have held out buying Elite: Dangerous because they have been hoping for PSVR support (myself included).
While I already own it on Xbox One, my mind would be blown to use my PS4 flight stick with this in VR. I would also be willing to pay extra for PSVR support!

Also...Jurassic World Evolution for PSVR would be epic! :)

Please look into this for psvr. Even as a paid add on i am sure it would be worth it and the community is crying out for it.

Frontier, please consider this!

I had already been playing Elite for awhile before I bought my VR, but this is something I really want. I was considering buying a PC just to be able to play Elite in VR, but the entry price would have been way too high just for one game. PS4 is in need of full length games for their VR library and Elite offers a never ending experience that will draw in more players. We are dying to experience the beautiful galaxy in VR on PS4, don’t let us down!

Elite Dangerous is the premier space sim on the market right now and getting it ported to PSVR would be satisfy so many fans. I know there would have to be much optimization to run it but it would be worth it in the end for Frontier, this has to be the most wanted game and vocally wanted game from the fans of PSVR.

The only reason I haven't bought this game yet

No PSVR support for thegame is the only reason why I haven't bought it yet. Not because I won't play it without VR support, but because I'm still holding my thumbs that support will be announced!

PSVR support would be greatly appreciated by the Playstation Commanders, many of which already have the VR headset. Further, I expect the inclusion of this feature would result in more commanders buying the headset specifically for this game. PSVR support would be an excellent way of relating continued support and development for console players in particular, a group that has often been underrepresented with respect to this game's ongoing development. Additionally, VR support could be made into a paid add-on much like it was in Dirt Rally (one of the best implemented PSVR games) thus subsizing Frontier's development costs with respect to porting the game over to this peripheral. Please give this some serious though FDEV as it would greatly improve the future re-playability of the game, as well as represent another fully-fledged title for PSVR, which it desperately needs.

New Registered User to Show Support for PSVR

Since getting PSVR and playing some of the space adventure games, I realized that this is how the games are meant to be played. PSVR is not dying like many people are falsely reporting. There still is strong support and if Elite Dangerous were to come out for PSVR, current and past owners of the device will be lining up to purchase and play. So for all that is good and glorious, please bring Elite Dangerous to PSVR!

And Ed Lewis: You still owe me an update from my question on Lave Radio way back in February!

Can we at least get a FAQ update:
"Elite Dangerous is a flagship VR game on PC so of course, VR is important to us. It’s definitely something we’re looking into, but we have nothing to announce for launch."

Launch was a year ago.

I would buy Elite and a seperate add-on for VR to support PSVR. I'm a die hard VR supporter, and have been playing space sims since X-Wing. This would be my dream come true.

Oh boy, take my money. The reason I have not buy a PSVR yet is one and only: Elite:Dangerous.
I would even pay extra for that feature. PLEASE!!!!
