SO if they are holding the stance Open Only would be better for direct PVP combat though powerplay. You dont think they wont remove blocking? The whole purpose is to put people on the same playing field.

You are making assumptions about my opinion you know to be incorrect Skid. I agree it would be sensible to revert the block to comms only in an open only competitive environment, I don't think it will happen because there are just too many fools looking to spoil someone's day in way that has little to do with the game and everything to do with the players. These people do not make the game a better place for their presence.
I'm sure you know people like this. Pad blockers, speed limit enforcers, jerks.

They have only improved the block feature since the game came out.
And they'll keep it because it's cheaper than hiring someone to GM the game and deal with complaints about "griefing"

Go the speed limit. Limit peoples time on landing pads in open. Remove the abiility to block another player just because they oppose you.

Well nice to see this thread along with 90% of the rest of them on this forum has turned into a PVP vs PVE, my dads better than your dad winge fest.
You could start a thread on this forum asking whats better ketchup or mayo and with in 24hrs it would all be about PVP Vs PVE
Thats where the issues are in this game, not the programming not the developers, just the few who cant/wont accept that people want to play this sand box game their way.

It's a thread in Modes of Elite that has That90skid in it. Skid has a plan that all this pointless bickering over semantics is a part of. Once this part is done, we all move on to the dot dot dot part, then it's into the endgame of Profit.
We are all just too dumb to see the bigger picture

No I didnt. I said around the Q4 Release. And Frontier already spoke their mind about powerplay going open only. Thats the direction they would like to go regardless of any proposal. They even go as far to say they are comfortable making the change in the second proposal. And offered weighted success just to see what we thought about it.
Lots of people didnt like that either.
If they could experience Powerplay.
So either way. I dont care. They made their stance on it. I wont be going anywhere.

In the same thread you said you would publicly apologise to me when they announced they would do open only. That would be the best way for you to find it. I had it saved but I lost the link when I reset my Cpu. You probably dont remember that one either eh?
I don't believe Q4 was ever a condition.
No, I believe I said when the game becomes Open-only. But feel free to prove me wrong.
