To say thankyou, why not buy some junk from the ship dolly dress up store like the rest of us? It isn't cheap, you can easily spend up to the full price of horizons before filling up your cart. Easy to give back your pound of flesh dont worry 
If you're stuck for ideas, id definitely recommend the krait ship kit (its better than its preview) and the outlander clothes thing. I didn't think id like both but super happy with those items.
Frontier aren't angels though. At this point they need to really come forward and say whether we're going to get space legs ever, because its a meaningful feature to many people and assumed to be in the roadmap even a year or two after launch. Only in 17/18 its drifted off into limbo.. we deserve confirmation.

Buy some stuff from the store; it's what I did. Even better - they've got a sale on right now, so you get more for whatever you feel like contributing towards the development effort.
I really really hummed and hah'd about that. For two reasons. One, as you alluded, the preview isn't that fantastic (I really wish we had a free-roaming camera in outfitting to check out stuff before buying it), and the other is, if they really do add another exploration-viable ship, I might end up taking a different one on DWE2 so "wasting" my investment.

You're in luck... Apparently my LEP was paying for it for you.
No worries though. It isn't free. It's at no additional cost for Horizons owners, which you did get to pay for.
Nearly all of these changes will be for the base game. The BGS, Exploration, Mining and probably squadrons. So yes it will be free even for non horizons players. And it's not just your LEP either which has contributed. Anyone thatbhas bought the game, bought horizons and got any cosmetics from the store.
Yes a great update here.
However, the realization costs are most certainly amortized in one way or another.
Nothing is free in this world.
However, the generosity of Frontier is well present in general.

Flick through the next few pages of that thread, was enough inspiration there. Also i do not recommend the raider kit. Subjective opinion is its not very inspiring. Its okay and isn't bad, but doesn't exceed expectations unlike the other one.
No worries, I'd *never* buy the raider stuff. Just doesn't do it for me at all. But thanks for the info
Edit: My main issue with the ship kits is that the geometry always looks a bit tacked on. They just never seem to mesh smoothly with the rest of the ship. Some kits are certainly worse than others in this regard, but in general they're a bit iffy. And let's face it, if you buy it, it's because you want to take selfies, right?

Yeah i have very few myself. The only kit id consider close to flawless is the corvette raider kit. That's it. The asp and krait normal kits are above average. The cutter one is just under acceptable and the design itself is a bit cringeworthy. But its kinda pretty and the right paint can hide the flaws. You need to leave off some slots for good effect. Yeah many of them are bad, as in intern who wasn't quality assured bad, but on second and careful consideration a few of them pass. Many are much better than the store page videos.
Can't make an update that fundamentally changes the core game as a paid update, no matter how the LEP people would wish to think otherwise...
Next years update however will be adding completely new 'things' to the game, and thus rightly justifies a price tag - and LEP buyers can whoop with glee.
