What about the vanishing docking pad numbers? Kept Mr Brookes occupied
Ah yes, Brewer's CAP Theorem biting FD in the behind. That one was hilarious, if to be expected. I can almost hear the conversations among the team when this was first coded.
"Surely we can figure out a way to assign pad numbers clientside, despite clients leaving and joining at any moment, and ownership of objects having to shift between clients. Can't be that hard, can it?"
THAT one was hilarious. I mean, what are the odds of that? And it's such a weird corner case too, no doubt the first time this was reported it was thought to be user error of some kind. Must've enabled self destruct or something. But no! Collision box of doom way out in the distance!
Let's talk a bit about pronunciation...
Beta is a greek letter. I know all English speakers say "Beeta"
I don't know how to write it in English with the correct greek pronunciation...
Ah yes...the "E" of beta should be pronunciated like the E in Egg

no, you already paid for horizons. plus there's really not much point in reporting anything. rest assured there are 100+ guys on in that are more than capable to produce a defect free release, that's their job. you can just have fun previewing new shiny, then post spoilers on here which will be a good distraction for those of us not bothering with the whole thing.
Yeah, yeah... Go ahead and rub it in... I won't be home til Wednesday night at the earliest.[cry]
I'll miss about a week of beta as well, so you are not alone in that.

I am not normally one to defend the American pronunciation of things..... Almost invariably they are wrong
But on beta I think they are correct. Still I am sticking with beeta .
(And you can stick your middlendian date format)
