I know the mouse widget "dot" (which is always just in the middle) - the thing I'm talking about is different. You can see it in use in the following video where I've marked a direction I want to head in across the canyon I'm trying to cross. See the blue targetting reticle fixed up in the sky there?

Oh. Didn't know about that trick.

Perhaps FDev could add planetary destination markers? Proper ones that could be used by the ship and/or srv.

The patch notes have been edited - "autoducking" has been changed to "autodocking" but I suspect this is an error - ducking is when the current foreground audio is reduced in volume to bring other audio to the fore temporarily. Seems in this case it is to do with the SRV throttle audio "clashing" with the wavescanner audio.

I have question: Will the 'First Mapped by' tags transfer over when the update goes live? Or are the tags for the Beta only? There is planet i want to get my name on, that others WILL get to first if the former is true. (im on console)

question - the system-wide text chat, does that include people on planet surfaces and in stations, as well as those in supercruise ??

I don’t know if it’ll be possible to test but is the console SRV crash bug fixed?
The nearest the patch notes get to it are Multicrew crash in PS4.

Wait what. The planets in the bubble are not already mapped by default? Please no more of this silliness, it has been one of my long standing annoyances that in the bubble, inhabited systems, are marked as unexplored...

Nothing should be transferring over. No credits, materials, ships, rewards, ... Like Las Vegas, whatever happens in Beta stays in Beta.
