You should've hung around for a bit it was a really good turnout in the end.
We brought some backup just incase you had a trap for us, kept us on our toes!!
I hung out for a bit, me and my wingman were having issues finding anyone, though I did run into Bongo but it was apparent he was AFK so I let him be(later he returned and we failed to get him from supercruise) looked around a bit couldn't find anyone else.

yeah, I ended up being lttp by a couple minutes which lead to me being behind the main group but because of Bongo's afk just ahead of him.
It was such lonely/dead space that I decided to double back towards Mostly when I happen to see Bongo in super cruise. Mostly told me there was a message on the forums saying he was AFK so I decided it would be funny to interdict him and then fly off leaving him to wonder why he was no longer cruising toward Hutton when he got back.
But instead Bongo was there and broke the interdiction. We had a good laugh about it before I went off to grind some engineering stuffs.

You know what, I really enjoyed the whole thing. It's the first time I've ever had a hand in arranging an in-game event and I'm pleased that even those of us with different play styles, different objectives and different views on the game (and even game modes) managed to mix it up.

a friend of ours made that same point when he popped into our chat just to say hi that night. Community stuffs like this are always fun to see come together no matter what side you're on.
And for the naysayers out there... Chill. Mostly and I aren't murders. Heck.. most of you have seen the poop I give players who murder other players. For sure I'll find your events and Interdict you for fun. But we're both just as likely to sign on as escorts if our schedule(s) would allow it.
