New controversy surrounding my plot to create sentient A.I.

As you may already be aware, in three days time, me and my fleet of loyal minions (SDC, Nomads, etc.) plan to illegally construct a sentient AI.

The details can be found here:

I expect much controversy to surround this event. But first I need you forumites to start arguing amongst yourselves about it in order to generate source material for said controversy. You may begin...

I fundamentally disagree!!!! Because of all the things which it is suitable to disagree with unless of course those things go against my principles in which case I potentially agree but I will agree in the most agressive way i can.

Did I win?

And this affects solo players how?

Don't see why you want to make a song and dance. But do the mashed potato all you like, kid.

Ziggy, I know that you can do better than that. Are you going to make me do *all* the work here?
About time you start doing some [mad] But don't worry, as one of the good guys, I'll do my utmost to oppose your evil machinations.

Although I do have some affinity with your new project.

You’ll have to be more specific. Which part of the event do you have in mind?

- That basing an entire event on trust in Harry Potter and SDC is imprudent?

- That practicing god-mode RP where I both set the game rules myself and simultaneously participate as a player is utterly unfair?

- That my side has all the best PvPers in the game and that opposing me is a hopeless endeavour?

- That I am highjacking and corrupting Elite’s lore?

- That this event is nothing but a giant griefing trap, thinly veiled as legitimate roleplaying?

- That the event outcome will make no impact on the greater galaxy either way and is therefore irrelevant?

- That making it an open-mode only event unfairly discriminates against solo mode players?

- That the event’s rules are difficult to enforce and leave a wide margin for cheating and impartiality?

- That instancing limitations makes an event like this unviable?

- That the entire event is nothing but a desperate cry for attention?

oh harry potter is in it, i have to join now so i can shoot him, we must defeat the evil doers

Well it's obvious. Artificial intelligence has already been created, multiple times, and is controlling humanity already. This is also why creating artificial intelligence is so unanimously agreed to be forbidden: creating another such entity causes disruption. Another emerging machine intelligence would have to be subdued, and this could leave traces, such as relics.

I like where you are going with this:

If AI controls all humanity, then AI controls the actions of all Pilots Federation commanders.

All griefers are Pilots Federation commanders.

Thus, AI controls the actions of all griefers.

People should not to be morally blamed for their actions when those actions were actually controlled by another rational agent.

The griefing done by griefers was actually controlled by another rational agent (an AI).

Therefore, griefers should not be morally blamed for griefing.

Referred intelligence might have some software issues, or bugs, but it is still in possession of a galaxy wide network that can alter the laws of physics, given a strong enough catalyst. Perhaps, a bit paradoxically, it would seem it doesn't care of the fate of sentient life as much anymore as when it was originally separated into a true virtual existence.
