Not much in the way of gameplay, but a sample of the custom shadow settings I've been refining:

Trying to balance overall shadow quality vs. performance, with primary goals of mitigating as much shadow acne and eliminating as many peter panning shadows as possible, while smoothing out the transitions between shadow cascades. This is the general profile that is used in SC and normal space away from planets and rings. I've doubled the internal linear shadow map resolution/slice size, increased the number of cascades by 50%, tuned the fade magnitude, and completely reworked the depth biases/slopes.
This is on PC, obviously.
