Hope so too. Mine will go green though, as I've already paid up front. :)

Actually, it won't :D

I paid up front too. You'll get an email confirming you're selected for the next batch (yellow), and then another one its been shipped (green).

The difference is that if you haven't pre paid (you paid by CC rather than PayPal), you'll get an email in between the two confirming that the rest of the money has been successfully taken.

Ah right... thanks for the info. :)

No emails yet. :( But PDT is some hours behind BST so there's hope for today yet. ;)

TBH, I can't recall them ever doing western EU orders on a Monday. Always seemed to be Tuesday and Wednesday, so don't hold your breath for tonight.

Think I was Tuesday (yellow), Thursday (green), Friday (heaven) :D

Fingers crossed for your mate.

A fair assumption as this precisely describes my DK2 shipment 5 weeks ago - deliveries perfectly timed for a few hours 'testing' over the weekend :)

I think we are in the same batch mate. :)

This week. I can feel it in my water. ;)

When did you order yours out of interest. I am a bit late to the party having ordered 10th August and the order says waiting fulfilment. They did say September, but not holding my breath.

For what it's worth, my 'ships in' month was August, ended up shipping on 4th of September.

4th July. People who ordered on 1st July have got theirs already. I guess the initial surge was when the pre-order opened, and as they've already shipped out all those, the batch size must surely be covering a larger date range by now.

Beta 1.05 and still no SSE4.1 update.
I'm beginning to think incorporating the latest Rift SDK is causing some problems or its too far up a branch to be added.

Someone said no matter how fast they deliver them it wouldn't be enough and they were probably right. We definitely saw batches covering a larger date range, but last week Europe deliveries appeared to come to a quick halt. As discussed Oculus said they were bringing other regions up to speed. I was really hoping that was just last week and not this week too. Maybe too early in the week to judge, FINGERS CROSSED your entry will turn yellow in the next 24hrs.

That how a gtx7702gb runs

You can silent my voice, fps are on the top left:D

Thanks for this, useful to see.

I'm planning on buying a new PC when my rift arrives since i've only got a GTX465. Its actually not a bad gpu for over 4 years old, but in that second station you dock at I only get 25 fps and that's without the rift! Elsewhere other stations are 40 and space is 60+

Its a bit of a shame as from what i've read my intel 920 cpu is still pretty good (only 2 gens behind), but I think at this point just upgrading my gpu would probably be a waste of money, especially if I need additional components like a new PSU. Regardless i'm still going to wait until the new gpu's come out and see what the breakdowns are.

I think worse case i'll get a GTX770 and hope that Frontier still has some substantial optimisations to make on station interiors. Even if they just replaced every other section in the station with a simple flat mesh would probably help.

Quick word of advice, if you're in the US, EVGA have an at cost upgrade service (called "step up") if you register your card right away, it's good for 3 months after purchase.

I bought a 3Gb 780, but they released a 6gb version shortly afterwards (I do GPU fluid sims, so the extra memory is useful for me) and I was able to upgrade by simply paying the difference in cost (plus shipping I think).

So if I were you, I'd buy an EVGA 770, test it out and if it doesn't cut the mustard, step it up to a 780 or 780 Ti (or a 970/980 card depending on how far down the road your upgrade is).
