Just lost my first crew member today 😭

RIP Kristina Finch. You were pretty rubbish most of the time and your aim was worse than an a Stormtrooper. You were finally gittin gud but now you are gone. Resting in the belly of a Hydra. I am so sorry*, I didn't realise how quickly we were going to get hooned.... 😢



*not as sorry as I will be trying to level another Mostly Harmless to Dangerous.....

RIP Dong King. It was a while ago now, he had just made Elite rating and had survived many a proper hairy Thargoid AXCZ encounter.
He rests in the belly of the Basilisk that at that point i could not outrun with a mangled Krait Mk2. I was disproportionally sad and turned off for the day as a mark of respect.

Personally i hire at harmless an build them up, hiring on funniest name i can find during mebbe 2-3 stations. Dong is the only one ever to get Elite, and died due to my drunken terribleness next time out.

Currently have Dusty Johnson who is halfway to deadly an starting to be usefull.

Good idea for a thread imo OP👍

Survived her time serving aboard my ships but retired to a life of debauchery, hedomism and substance abuse and then fatally crashed her gold-plated FdL into a hospital-station in an ironically tragic accident while high on a cocktail of onionhead and Leestian Evil Juice.

Just mine void opals for a bit, the money is there to make the payments small change.
I am not yet combat Elite and crew certainly don’t help ranking up, but after i nurture them from harmless to expert then there is respect between me an my randomly made up by a game co-pilot!

Must admit, I get a buzz out of allowing myself to get attacked by outlaws at a HazRES or CNB, knowing that when I get that "you are under attack" message, my SLF is going to show up and ruin their day. :p

You must've introduced her to Hera Tani, Didi Vatermann and Lori Jameson. Dude! You know what a bad influence they are on young girls!
