Yeah I always thought the evolution video was this one, but Pearl Jam's video has a "little" more bite.

Btw. Even though Darwin deliberately avoided writing too much about humans ancestor it has commonly been described as monkeys, which seems hard to swallow for some people. If they only knew, that 145 million years ago, "we" were probably nocturnal rodents quite similar to a rat:
The earliest known ancestors of the mammal lineage that includes everything from humans, to blue whales, to pygmy shrews may have been nocturnal, rodent-like creatures that evolved much earlier than previously thought.

Ok, i'll keep it short, cause we might hit off a interesting debate and derail the thread. Good points, and the Ape is only one link in a very long evolutionary chain, with multitudes of different species deriving from our ancestoral roots. If you go all the way back, life began in the oceans, and even went back into them, some life-species did at least.
I personally think Fatboy Slim's video is a bit of an hommage to the Pearl Jam vid, with a funny and ironic twist.
video time:
hmm, i had to look for this video, i'm shocked there is no better version and i don't even know if i can post it here.
I'll just leave the link without the media tag:

And here's a replacement for the link in question, something to contrast it. (well, not really contrast, but one of my favourite songs)
I often listen to it, and the Infected Mushroom Cover, too.
