Released Screenshots By Frontier Thread

Nice picture.

I guess placing a tree inside a building is always possible with the piece by piece building.

My question would be: Can you also place fences on a (building) grid? Because that would mean I have some great ideas already.

Yes, placing a tree is of course always possible but why would frontier randomly place trees inside a building? They know people will speculate and assume an animal must live in there so to place trees indoors without it being an exhibit is a little misleading.
Your question is a good one and I guess we'll just have to wait and see. Personally, I don't see why not

The claws out when relaxed still bothers me a lot, though. I hope Frontier will fix this in an update after relase. We are talking about a game in which the devs put a lot of research, including the infamouse poop mechanic. When it matters how much an animal poops, anatomic details should matter as well.

Beside the claws: Great model! Looks a lot less fluffy and cute like the first one. More like an adult tiger.

The Bengal Tiger above doesn’t quite look right, looks to Cute, not Scary looking enough.
Tigers aren’t scary looking though? They are, powerful and majestic predators, they demand respect and admiration sure... but to look at any tiger, or any predator, many things come to mind, bust scary isn’t one of them.

Yeah the claws annoy me too. The only big cat where this would be natural with is be the cheetah. Maybe that’s the reason behind it? If they made the tiger off of the same model from the cheetah? Whatever it is I hope it gets fixed.

Because it’s a greenhouse/atrium. How is that misleading?
Like I stated, people will assume its an exhibit and frontier know this.
Here's a quote from twitter
"Look at the bagground, seem to me like its some sort of rainforest incloser, where you maybe could have small monkeys our birds flying around :)"
And people on reddit...
"It looks like a closed enclosure"
"Maybe a small, indoor Jungle exhibit?"
"Hopefully an aviary"
Case in point

So... you would rather have no pictures and news, because there will always be someone who will just assume things that aren't there? Oo

Of course not, and it's fun to speculate. Perhaps it is just a greenhouse, could be a gift shop or restaurant? I guess it's generated more hype with it being a talking point. I personally think it's a giant microwave for cooking trees in

Just because people assume things, doesn’t make Frontier’s screenshots misleading.

Nice to see some additional foliage - I'm not sure we've had the bullrushes (?) to the right of the tiger in any previous screenshot. I think they are going be very useful. I like the detail of the dried stalks on the outside and at the bottom. Plus the ferns look gorgeous too and again I can see them being essential for so many temperate forest enclosures. I'm assuming that this shot is from the same European zoo they were using in early screenshots so no asian biome or theme pics yet.

I completely agree. I never said frontiers screenshots are misleading, though

Yes you did ;)

As fences can be part of a building and mad invisible, there is definitely a possibility of it being an indoor exhibit.
Althought we won't know for sure until we can try ourselves, or see another screenshot of that building.

Nah-ah 😂 I don't think a single one of their screenshots is misleading and in this case on this specific screenshot I simply said placing the trees inside a building is misleading, however, I probably should have said it could be considered misleading. Now I've looked at it more, I feel less like it's an exhibit and more like it really is just trees indoors and I'm okay with that 😂👍

These African Elephants are enjoying a cooling spell of rain in their Savannah home. What biome are you looking forward to?

It would be cool if there was a first person camera and the animals reacted to it. Like with the elephant on how he might feel threatened (maybe he hasn’t been there for long and doesn’t “know” the first camera person so he makes himself big and flaps his ears but after a while his reaction would change. Or with the african dogs they would back off at first and maybe growl but after a while they would bark excitedly if you came into the exhibit). I just thought about it because of the bull’s ears (I assume it’s a bull because of the long tusks) though it’s probably just coincidence. But it would be so cool. Though it might get in the way when you just want to quietly observe the animals, at least they react to the keepers so that will be fun to watch.

The question asked with the screenshot confuses me. Have we info on what biomes will be included in Plan Zoo? LOVE the screenshot though
