Arrived back at The Planet That Tried to Kill Me and a little part of my love for ED died.
In the system map, there is my name as first discoverer of every body in the system, and as first mapper of The Planet That etc. And we know that the system map doesn't actually mention bio sites, but once the planet is mapped they appear in the nav panel. Yet, despite planet 5 being fully mapped, no bio sites are listed. With a weary sigh, I fire up the FSS, select planet 5 and zoom in. And the FSS proceeds to fully scan the planet all over again before it will tell me that there are geo and bio sites on this body. What the actual...? So I go to planet 1, same story. And it's the same for every body in the system.
So despite the fact that the system map knows I have scanned all 40-something bodies in this system, and fully mapped at least two of them, the location of the POIs is revealed nowhere that I can see, and using the FSS forces a rescan before it will reveal their locations. facepalm
Anyway, brain-numbing frustations aside, this is a pretty interesting system. There are 10 major bodies circling a B-class star, and planets 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 8 have bio sites, and most have multiple POIs. So far I've visited three - the original where I nearly lost the ship on planet 5, and today I ticked off two out of four on planet 1, and they've all been pumpkings/anenomes. It'll be interesting to see if that's true of all of them or if there's some variety.
