You're probably on a list.

The US sales technique of hyping also shouldn't work too well with Germans either, but plenty of german whales exist as well.
I was always told if you want to sell to the US you appeal to their emotions. If you want to sell to the Germans you show them technical specifications and parameters. If you want to sell to the English you get them drunk.

Is it cry of pain or cry of dismay that comes with the engine?Let's not forget the pride of the German floret, CryEngine
Welp...I won't be going to Citcon..besides being closer to Norway than the UK here...I've got silage and harvesting to do... and winter feeding by the time that pile of nonsense comes around..

He describes the minimal persistence you'd expect in any game you paid money for like being able to keep your ship etc.
"If they can get that in this year that would be amazing"
Kickstarter backers were expected to get digital copies of the "finished game" in 2014 how can anyone sit with a straight face and say it would be "amazing" if they get the basic ability to carry on where you left off with your in game stats 6-7 years after that deadline has been and gone? Oh yeah because of all the awesome unmeasurable fluff they weren't going to put in the 2014 game which meant it could never be fully realised because Chris dared to dream so big.

He was more critical few months ago, even looked like on the fringe to break with the project. Now he seems more in "damage control / big problems are not that a problem / tiny advances and/or glimpses of teasing of potential minor thing coming (no promises) are big steps forward making SC a G.A.M.E." mode. That YouTuber and Twitch streamer, SaltEMike, is generally fairly critical of SC, despite still supporting it. He plays it a lot less on his stream, branching out to DayZ and other games.

It seems lately that SaltEMike (Twerk17 as he was) has been eating a dose of reality salts and got rid of the angst when it comes to his discussions on Star Citizen. I never really got his old videos but the new ones are enjoyable at least.Oh my, I love this one at 21:41

I’m guessing they can’t do the basics so they fill their time with pointless fluff and keep the dream going. They’ve certainly had plenty of opportunities to showcase their talent and fallen short at every step.He describes the minimal persistence you'd expect in any game you paid money for like being able to keep your ship etc.
