She did not climb into the exhibit. If that was the case the person filming would be in danger as well.
There is a moat in front of her and between her and the lion.
HOWEVER, I do not approve with this behaviour.
But the news article is very misleading.
ps. I have seen guests of my zoo do this as well. (does that behaviour have impact on the animal or not?)

I remember a woman got maned by a panther at a zoo, because she wanted to take a selfie for social media.. I really hope people don't cause animals to die from their stupidity.
