Problems with Tapir Exhibit

Hey, I need some help here. I'm having issues with my Tapir exhibit.

First of all, I have water in their exhibit but it's not counting towards their water area. Which is a problem.

Secondly, I finally researched one-way windows to ensure their privacy is a bit better, now that they're next to an extremely popular Timber Wolf exhibit.

Unfortunately? The glass is facing the wrong way for some reason and I can't find an option to turn it around! Which means the guests can't see the Tapir and I'm not getting donations! Help!

Remove the water, smooth the edges of the terrain, fill back up and look if it changes.

I guess the game recognizes the edges as sort of cliffs, which makes it inaccessible to the animals.

You can also use the Heatmap, with the Traversable area heatmap enabled.
That way you can see if the water is accessible at all.

For the one-way glass there is a option on the 2nd tab of the construction screen to select which side is see through and which one is not.

For the one way glass, I noticed that the side it applies to depend on where are you looking with the camera. Try adding it both with camera facing out of and into the habitat to see which side is the right one.

For the glass.. When you are in 'barrier mode' there's a second tab in the options sections (low right corner, where you also selected to have windows in the barrier).
Can't check it atm.. i think its the gear icon

You can switch the direction of this one-sided glass.

Just tried that, no dice. Tried unchecking and rechecking the One Way Glass tab, and it always put the glass facing towards the crowd.
Then I tried deleting and remaking the border entirely, same thing.

Go to the 2nd tab while selecting the barrier.
You can switch sides there.

I didn't even know there -was- a water remove tool. Thanks, that worked, Tapir Exhibit is now properly fixed up.
