Today's update didn't fix it for me unfortunately... was REALLY hope it would.. .this is taking away from wanting to play... its so hard to decorate an enclosure and make rock caves when they all literally look like just piles of poop.

Honestly... i've had nothing but trouble with so many games since i switched to Nvidia a few years ago. I think it's an issue with your card and optimalization, not the game. nvidia seems to have taken a turn for the worse in the last few years, solely focusing on a few games while the rest goes to poo

I'm having the same issue! Really looking forward to a fix - the game is great, but it would be even greater, if the animals would look as good as they do on other player's PCs! And it also effects some scenery items!
I use NIVIDA Geforce GTX 960 - so it's not only the problem of one single graphic card (but maybe of NIVIDA?!)
I also tried switching several graphic card settings, but nothing solved the problem for me :(

I only really know Nvidia so don't know the difference with other Graphics cards. I've found the GeForce Experience overlay really freakin annoying recently. While drawing on my tablet and hitting CTRL + ALT + Z to re-do something I un-did it brings up the GeForce overlay so I had to change the shortcut key for the overlay to something I would never press before I got rid of that mothaf*cker. 🤣

Anyway. On Nvidia's home page it shows the games that I have installed and certain one's have a little green tick on the top left of their picture. I'm guessing this means NVIDIA supports these games bcuz when I check the list of games it supports Planet Zoo isn't there and neither is Planet Coaster! Yet Planco's graphics are fine! PZ's picture DOESN'T have a green tick next to it either! When I check why it says PZ isn't optimised with Nvidia. 😐

I hope all that made sense if not I apologise. 😓

I'm so glad that I found people with the same problem in a game as me. Read this post's and I can say that I have GeForce GTX 960 not a 1050. It seems here problem not in certain video card. I hope it's gets fixed soon. The game is very good but the appearance of objects at the moment spoils all atmosphere.

edit: because i tried to reply to this while on myphone and i guess it never posted...

If this weren't a bug (which the devs have confirmed it is and are working on it), and it were specifically a problem with nvidia then wouldnt all textures be affected.. all of the time? Not just some of the time? Whenever I make a new zoo, the animal textures work just fine but about 10 minutes later they go poop. And exactly how the person below explained... I have played games with higher specs than planet zoo, with NO issues or anything.

This is most defiantly a bug of some sort, I have a Nvidia Geforce GTX 1050 myself and you can see how with objects its high resolution at one moment and then downgrades instantly, especially next to lots of objects I have noticed. I have played games with "higher" Specs than planet zoo before so its a bit disappointing to not be able to see my animals and objects in HD :(

Jesus what the hell is that mechanical thing? Has the bug stripped down the animal to it's core? 🤣👀🧐

My beta wasn't even like that. Still blurry textures. Accept for one time when I went to see if Franchise was the same and the textures were perfect. The next time I opened the game it was blurry again....😭

Like I said, only in Franchise. Career Mode was always blurry ^^
