Ship Status for Engaging FSD

Three of the four ship conditions required for engaging FSD are displayed. Why isn't the fourth?
1. Mass Locked
2. Landing Gear
3. Cargo Scoop
4. Hardpoints

I know you get the warning message when you try, just like the other three requirements. Not a huge deal but it is curious, why those three status displayed, and why not hardpoints? They are all equally required. It bothers my sense of completeness when I see something missing.

You can tell if your hardpoints are deployed by looking at the HUD. If you see aiming reticles = hardpoints deployed.

That is not correct. You can have hardpoints deployed without aiming reticule present. You can also have aiming reticules without hardpoints deployed. Depends on your current mode, equipment and firing groups

I still forget something that prevents me from jumping occasionally. I've often thought an option to have the jump over-ride these blocks would be popular. There is more than one failsafe for engaging the FSD.

Well, at least there should be a kind of back light, while driving backwards, so You can see where You go ...

But in space reverse thrust doesn't imply traveling backwards, maybe just slowing down, so what would be the point of a back light. And besides all the, in space all motion is relative, so at times you think you are going forward, but relative to another object you are actually going backwards, hmm when should we have the back lights on?

I think I start a petition about back lights, it is so quiet here ...

It may take a text book to define what you mean by reverse and backwards, I look forward to reading the descriptive part of the petition, it may open an entire new field of physics!

The only way to deploy Hardpoints and not show aiming reticles is to not have any weapons the current fire group. Other than that let's pretend I am from Missouri ... show me.
