Making a fly-through video

In all my years of gaming and working in a virtual world, I haven't had the desire to make an in-game video until now with Planet Zoo. It's just so beautiful! I'm sure there are many ways to do it but I'm wondering if someone with experience could point me in the right direction of the best way. I have Ansel and also love learning new software so I don't care how hard it is, I just want the best quality.

I can't give you any pointers to your actual question, but I gotta say "Me too."

Please do share your work with a link in the forums if and when you get around to doing it. I also like admiring images of other people's zoos, another thing that I don't normally care about in most games I play.

Hopefully someone will give us both a point in the right direction for this :)

I'm not sure with Planet Zoo.

But if you connected a (X-box)controller to your pc with Planet Coaster, you where able to make fly through video's much easier.
As for recording programs, I'm no expert with that, I just use the Nvidia software for that

Ok, I found this which was helpful:

I think I'm going to just give it a try with Nvidia ShadowPlay. I've got a RTX 2070 and I like the Ansel screencaptures so perhaps I don't need extra software to get a reasonably decent video. I'm not trying to do anything fancy anyway and this looks really easy to get started with. I guess the onus is on me now to control the camera well enough to make something that won't make people sick watching it :)
