Kicked out during firefight!

Well, I just got disconnected from the server and after quitting it seems the 2.04 upgrade is available. Was that why I got kicked?

Hoping it will jump me back into Federal Distress Signal with all my combat vouchers ;-)

Only had a few hours play but I am loving the extra variety in Beta 2 -- it means another slog to get back to Cobra ownership (or better, an Asp!) but it's looking great.

...and I thought I was having a busy week!

Well done to all the guys & gals at Frontier. Have a relaxing weekend

That would explain why I lost contact with the server 5 minutes ago while testing 2.03 - didn't see an in-game message. Be interesting to see how much of my exploration data has been retained

Can anyone confirm if the com's panel is working ie, assigning a key bind to it ?
As it crashes mine on 2.03, stuck at work just now

Bulletin board disconnect 3/3

Opala/Romanenko Estate , Solo mode. Every time I try to call up the bulletin board I get disconnected.

Ps.S.: Love the UI fixes and everything else, keep rocking guys!

Thank you again!

I hope the dev team will now be unchained from their desktops and allowed to leave the basement for the weekend at least. They need some time (and probably a few beers) to recover from the whipping they've got from their boss and customers. :D

Amazing work, devs. I don't think I've ever seen a team work this hard and the game is shaping up to be better than I ever imagined. Thank you.

- Added 'Disable GUI Effects' option to the GUI shader so no cloudyness, parallax or colour tinting is applied when this option is set

Thanks for listening to us that voiced our issues of having trouble reading parts of the GUI. :)

I don't think I've ever come across a company like FD in terms of their efforts and efficiency, and the astounding pace of work, internal co-ordination as well paying extremely close attention to the community suggestions!

I first bought Elite in 1984 when I was 7 years old, and remember showing it to my great grand mother! Ahhh.... fond memories... loads of hours invested in the Amstrad version.

Mr Braben, you are a living legend. Thank you for bringing this back for the old school kids as well as the new age gamers alike!
