I actually find the Anaconda to be kinda meh....
It's the best L sized exploration ship in the game, and is a great multirole, but if you buffed or re-worked other ships to be "more in line" with how effective it is as a multirole, then those ships would start to venture into op land.
First of all, the Anaconda is definitely worse than the Cutter and the Corvette, at BOTH cargo capacity AND combat. One size 7 can't compete with either three size 7s or two class 8s when it comes to shields or cargo. Just for the SCBs alone, one class higher is essentially twice as good as the last. I used to think the Cutter wasn't as good as the Conda at combat too, until I got a G5 Overcharged PP, and a Class 8A Prismatic with a class 8 SCB and class 6 SCB (or a Class 6A Prismatic with two class 8 SCBs). It tanks wings. And the Corvette has slightly better maneuverability (despite what ppl still seem to think, the pitch rate on the Vette is barely better than the Conda), with much better shields and similar dps. The Conda is still a good combat ship, and a good CMDR can beat the average/noob CMDR in a Conda if they are using a Cutter or a Vette, but... no, sorry... The Conda is the worst of the big 3 when it comes to combat.
Second, imo if you buff other ships the Conda loses it's "multirole king" status. The roles become less defined, and other than exploration the Conda gets left in the dust by it's competitors. It will essentially be designated as an exploration ship.
Third. The Type 10. It needs something. Just throwing it out there... Out of all the big ships, the Type 10 is probably the biggest joke. Every year the Type 10 is expecting an invitation to the "big four" party, and every year the big three forget to send the invitation (or laugh when the suggestion to send the invitation comes up). If any ship needs a role that is more clearly defined, it's the Type 10. So if we are talking about reworks, imo it needs it more than any ship in the game. It has already been buffed and it still sits in my hanger, because I can just use the Vette or Cutter do do any job it can do, better. Imo, the Type 10 needs to be reworked into a Thargoid hunter. It is what the ship was designed for and it's never been effective at it as other ships.
But yeah... the Python is op. Instead of nerfing it they could rework the T7, and maybe the Clipper, to land on medium pads. Yes, the price kind of reflects the fact that the Python is the M sized multirole king, but I wonder how many people have actually landed a T7? It's laughable. The way it's designed makes no sense.
Fix the T7 please.
