FCs and Possible Clutching of many a Handbag?

So with the confirmation of the Mythical FCs, complete with price, will it be possible for "other kids" to jump into another another PF system, mob handed, and cause all merry hell?
Not my bag baby, but that could lead to some serious 🧂🍿🤔😃.

So if someone has a carrier, loads it up with ner'do wells, then jumps into a system run by a peaceful player group. Well they could break it couldn't they?

You can already do that, jump into a PMF controlled system, in a disposable ship with an interdictor, interdict and destroy all that factions NPC ships, cause them to lose security status, influence and put the controlling PMF into lockdown. Even better is if the PMF doenst control all the starports, because you will end up 100% hostile with the PMF, you cannot land at their starports to do missions for the other factions, but if they don't control all the starports, you can land at another one and run missions for another faction to boost their influence. So your combat patrols/blockading detracts from the influence of the MF, mission running / trading / exploration data / bounties for any other faction handed in at the non PMF starport has a positive effect on the the non PMF's influence, nudge two of them to meet at a level of influence and boom, you've got a control war.

But they'll be able to do it a whole 30 minutes quicker!
(Minus the two hours it takes to get everyone organised and loaded onto the carrier in the first place)

Suppose it will mean that players could dock, rearm, restock etc. without leaving the system and that you could ditch a fuel scoop in favour of additional defence with less risk during wars if you were hostile with the controlling faction and they controlled all the ports. Something that would be more like convenience than any real advantage.

As i say it is not my bag all the BGS and that carry on. It just seemed a bit like you could monty python a skyscraper into someone else's turf and well, from nowhere cause an almighty cerfuffle..

Given the nature of SC, it will nearly always be quicker to high wake to a nearby system than SC to and from a FC.

If a faction owns all the nearby systems, then they won't give a hoot about some Muppets in their shiney FC, and will have plenty of resources to deal with it in the normal way.

FC as a useful invasion tactic will be rather edge case.
