A user on this forum has given me an interesting idea, and I want to see if others would be up for it. I have 10 characters slots to be filled and I'm offering to ad your in-game commander as a character in an episode.

What I Need From You
  • If you use VR, a left side and right side view, along with a front view from 'Holo Me' would help with modeling. But in a pinch, a front view will work.
  • A backstory and personality outline would be a great help.
  • A name, It doesn't have to be your in-game one, if you want to remain anonymous.

If you would like, you can be the voice of your commander or I can find a voice actor.

I made some Improvements to T'nia's face and learning a blender plugin called 'Hair Tool', that should speed things up.

I hope you like the improvements and I will be working on the mouth's interior and begin making a proper skin texture. After that, I will go for the Hair and first outfit.

The past month I've been scouting freelance 3d artists to lessen my work load and get the first episode made sooner. the main charactors, fan charactors and ships etc are still being modelled by me. But for scenes like cities/stations with citizens that need variations and other background charactors, I"ve been looking for someone to make a start on those. Odviously sending a tester project to artists (examples below, some good, some bad) requires time and money but I believe it's the best way to asses ability.

My modelling is paused. In a few months I will upload Cover art Showcasing the main characters and the series art style.

In these uncertain times, rest assured work will continue. I wish you, your loved ones well and you're spending time with them in some way, as I am.

In the mean time, If you have questions about my plans for the series, I'm happy to answer; I will however withheld surtain plot points for odvious reasons.

I Emailed Frontier yesterday about a side-project, a Series of four graphic novels containing the back story of two of the main characters. I hope to be able to self-publish these novels to help fund this project.

Hope everyone is holding up okay during these stressful and uncertain times

Hi Commanders,

Just an update, Frontier replied to my emails with a polite 'not at this time, but maybe in the future'. I have asked if I can fund this project with a Kickstarter or Patreon, I will keep you posted.

Modeling is paused for at least a few weeks as I'm moving house, BUT, I'll be coming back with a bang. I will be setting up a youtube channel full of time-lapse videos, updates, and tutorials (if requested); and of course, I'll still be posting on here.
