Ohh look. Have not played the whole day due to connection issues. So decide to give it a try now. 15min in to game SCARLET ING KRAIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Holy sweet jesus what you doing to the game?????
Inara does get its information from user journal uploads which containes the names and more. EDDB relies only on EDDN which does not have this data (and would probably filter it out becaue of data anonymisation).Yeah it looks like you can get the fleet carrier station name in eddb and then use the station name in INRA to look up the cmdrs name. I have gotten close using INRA but have not quite figured it out yet...Eventually I would guess eddb wil show the stations cmdr name in the station search output. Right now they show everything about the station except that.
Well, you could look at it (sort of) like I'm "changing ships" to my FCActually, if I understand what you're thinking, this is what you'd expect.
Once mission cargo is in your ship, it can't be moved anywhere else or sold without invalidating the contract.
You can change ship, but the cargo Must be in your 'possession' at all times.
Moving cargo to the FC counts as selling it.

I've had the Admin screen not exit during countdown & the timer stuck on 0:01, only to find despite being docked on the Carrier, it had dumped me & was 490+LY's away from it.I think I've read this elsewhere but yesterday I did a 498ly jump in my fleet carrier with my Corvette safely stowed aboard. Looking at the galaxy map showed the FC and my Corvette about 498ly's apart. Odd as I was still in the FC hangar. So I left the FC, jumped into supercruise and found there was no FC to return to. It was indeed 498 ly's away.
So the FC jumped, I was on board but didn't jump. I believe I plotted the course via my Corvette then went into FC management to repeat. Then something obviously went wrong.
I had to call it back so a b****y waste of 600 tons of Trit I could have done without!
Probably an Orange Sidewinder or maybe A Taupe Cobra!Magenta Krait, Mauve Adder, Scarlett Krait what the hell else is your game gonna throw at me today. Utter garbage the stability is now.
Mine seems to put my name on systems and bodies, after I sell them my data. Although I noticed that UC in stations nefuse to buy any data from me, which is fine, I'll just hold it till I'm back at my carrier.Dear FDEV, I suspended my Universal Cartographics simply because any systems I submitted to this feature never put my name on the first finds. So it's useless to make use of now. Have a look at BLU EUQ OO-I D9-57 and many of these planets are mine including two planet A6 and A7 are terraformable HMC types found and mapped by me. But the Fleet Carrier UC did not place my CMDR name on them. Please fix this asap.
Or does the FC need to be in a system with a Station to make this happen on our finds?
Please let me know soon.
I think you'll find that announcement happens after the '10 minutes until jump' announcement. At least it does for me. Time ... it's complicatedCarrier ATC no longer makes an announcement after a jump (this was in beta)
