no, im expressing my opinion here which i have the right to do soalso you can look into forums and steam forums and you will see alot of the major problems have not even been adressed or talked about.
And to the post above me, saying that animals phasing trough walls isnt a gamebreaking issue is just nonsense (dont want to be offensive here but no other word comes to my mind). Its like playing planet coaster and your coasters randomly derail even tough the rails are all connected. Its like the core thing of the game not working correctly. Do you think its fun for me when playing my Zoo and 3-4 hours in suddenly animals start escaping? Not fun at all
Well, it shouldnt be my job to check every object etc near the habitat and check for paths not beeing to close etc (all this workarounds everyone has been posting). I should be able to play the game normally without having to wonder "oh that animal escaped? but the wall is ok and everything looks good". Im not saying this is breaking the whole game for me, sorry if you understand it this way, i may have expressed myself wrong. But im tired of playing a game where i encounter bugs and instead of getting those fixed we always have too look for workarounds, thats not how its supposed to work. The phasing in most cases are related to player-related issues. In the rare case that people post their screenshot, there are some visible options to try.
In most cases it's fixed by moving stuff in the habitat. Should Frontier improve that? Yes !! Is it managable: Yes.
And most people admit it doesn't happen all the time but sometimes. If people consider that game-breaking, that's nonsense imo.
A lot of people don't have these problems, because they are willing to temporarily adapt to the situation. Some people who have these issues, just simply refuse to change their habitat - demanding Frontier to fix this.
While bugs needs to be fixed, having a stubborn attitude towards this - won't help you with this game and many other games.
If it happens with multiple habitats/animals every few minutes, that would be gamebreaking.
To the post above me: Franchise animal market and buttons are broke since release, does this really take that much time? :O
No, its been happening for a while now, i was hoping a update would fix it but it hasn't seemed to. I think it began to happened prior to the update before this.
When i saw that there was an update after a long time, i was exited, but the exitement was gone when i saw that only enrichtment items and some stability issues (i don't see any improvement in game) were 'updated'... this is more a hot fix, not an update.seriously, what even is this update? none of the most common problems has been fixed or adressed in this update.
this was also my thought, especially since the long wait between updates and because they mentioned that we could expect a big update soon...1.2.5 doesn't seem to cover much in terms of what I've seen discussed on the board as a whole.
If i can speak for myself: i know some people will benefit from this update, but that doesn't mean others can be dissapointed about the lack of other fixesdo you ever think that there may be some players who have benefited from the 1.2.5 fixes? Are you saying this shouldn't have been released just because you're having problems?
I know things take time, but an update about WHAT they are working on (even with a timeframe(aproximately, so no deadline)) would be niceGuys, although it's 2020, magic still doesn't exist.
Some things take time, some might even take longer.
The bugs are very annoying and make people stop playing this game ( i know a few who stopt because of unresolved bugs). But im tired of playing a game where i encounter bugs and instead of getting those fixed we always have too look for workarounds, thats not how its supposed to work.

Earlier this month they even announced a 1.2.5 update in the upcoming weeks. Bit surprised some were expecting 1.3And I also don't understand why people expected a 1.3 release, because that would have meant a new DLC.
The moment I saw 1.2.5 I was already like, cool, some fixes, but nothing major.
Not been around that long, but it's pretty obvious.Sure it is, but it's asking for the familiar way, as everybody should know by now, that's not how Frontier works, and I doubt that will change.
I've been around long enough to realize you can ask for it all you want, it's a philosophy they won't change.
That's one less effective button (the button works but responds badly), i agree it's a bug or something that needs improvement. The problem with tradecenterbuttons and the missing 'all select' button in franchise tradecentre are bugs that are easy to fix and are in the game since release
If in litterly EVERY mode you can 'multi select' animals in the trade center, and even in the exhibit trading of franchise: then yes, i call it a bug.... why on earth would you choose to do remove it from only 1 (half..) mode?? especially since it is very annoying to place 30 flamingo's 1 by 1 (and of course everything closes and resets :/ so it takes ages ) lots of people complain about this issue sorry to say this, but that is just a stupid choise. The missing 'all select' button is not a bug but a requested feature. I want to see that as well but "missing" is a personal issue
this is what i also see a lot, especially when people have crashes etc.. but on a pc with recommended specs (intel 8400(30% higher benchmark score then recommended) and 1070 (as recommended)) you'd expect a game that doesn's have 5 to 10 fps and lots of stutter when you have a zoo on not even half of the map...And a lot of people (really a lot) don't fill in their specifications - so it could easily be people trying to play the game on a "potato" pc or a messy pc with too much software (running multiple high CPU demanding processes).
Seen this countless times.

Exactly.. so how does Frontier know if someone is using a good pc or a bad one? Maybe some issues are with certain graphic cards (like certain NVIDIA-series) and a lot of bugs could be solved by improving support for that series.this is what i also see a lot, especially when people have crashes etc.. but on a pc with recommended specs (intel 8400(30% higher benchmark score then recommended) and 1070 (as recommended)) you'd expect a game that doesn's have 5 to 10 fps and lots of stutter when you have a zoo on not even half of the map...![]()

But if that setting is in litterly every gamemode, except franchise (but it Is in the exhibit tradecentre,) it should also work in the normal one, there is no reason to make this exception, so yes: i would call it a bugA bug is something that doesn't work properly (not working or different result) because of an error or flaw
I am pretty sure that it's not a bug but an intentional flaw. Due to the way the trading market is programmed and linked to the servers and - I am pretty sure - that the whole performance would be too poor that they left this function out intentionally. Other than that there's no reason to intentionally program this game mode than the other ones. Because, in principial, the trade market has the same underlying technology in every game mode. But if that setting is in litterly every gamemode, except franchise (but it Is in the exhibit tradecentre,) it should also work in the normal one, there is no reason to make this exception, so yes: i would call it a bug![]()
For me, it was one of the reasons stop playing Franchise, among other things, which make breeding/ trading very tedious and not rewarding as a whole.I don't consider it game-breaking but at some times it's frustrating (especially in the weekend).
