Notice Fleet Carrier Update - Known Issues

Not sure if this is a known bug:

When you try and transfer cargo to carrier before the ship had fully entered the carrier, the Transfer button greys out and stays greyed. Re-logging via main menu solves the issue.

Also:
When entering hyperspace, selected target (FC) always switches to another random FC

There are currently a number of issues that can be worked around by relogging. For instance, my module health and hull percentages are not currently updating until I relog.

Yeah... but it is really a real turn-off when you do some exploring in an anaconda and move your carrier remotely...
Every time you plan a carrier jump from outside the carrier, when the jump is complete, your carrier doesm't appear in the galaxy map anymore.
The fastest workaround for that is the infamous 'logout-login' procedure .
Really not good for immersion.

Yep. since beta1, reported in the issue tracker, it seems to happen when your inventory panel is opened BEFORE landing on the fleet carrier.
The 'docking' event (like the 'carrier jump complete' event mentionned above) is sent to the journal but not to the UI elements of the game.

Oh, the game is in a terrible state for immersion right now. While we all know they are working on fixing issues, there are quite a number of known issues that I think it is unlikely they will all, or even mostly be addressed in a single patch, it would be really nice to have some idea of what issues Frontier is focusing on at the moment, what they are prioritizing. Surely that is information a Community Manager could discuss with us.

I'm not sure if it is the patch or it was the carrier update itself, but everytime i turn in some exploration data I have to relog or else the exploration data will not be reflected in my exploration status.
This only seems to happen with exploration data, passenger mission for instance still are reflected instantly in my exploration rating.

There seem to be a lot of issues related to refreshing local client data requiring a relog at the moment?

Another refresh bug I've seen:
If I enter some systems the first time in a session, all POIs are missing. As soon as I jump out and back in, all POIs show. To make them visible on the first jump in, I have to open the system map of the target while planning my route in the galaxy map, this will also work. Happens for instance every time in Sohis, but never in Sol.

Don't usually purchase ARX, don't see the point in spending more of my hard earned money on a game that has so many unresolved issues but with the release of FC's I thought why not so I splashed out £30 on ARX packs to find that my paint job keeps resetting everytime I leave the instance and to make matters worse it's radio silence from the Devs. You live and learn and I won't make the mistake of purchasing ARX again.

I mean... seriously!? You knew of the many bugs and yet you still bought fake money?!

Same for me, around the same amount. I bought that blindly based on the fact that beta2 was not that bad and thought that most the beta bugs would be addressed... How stupid of me... The game right now is worse than beta2. How is it possible ???

Without any hint on when fdev will address the game-breaking bugs, and the upkeep running (using the carrier or not), I don't see the point of keeping it.

Anyway, I painfully decommissioned my carrier one hour ago in balante, removing all services and left just enough cash in the balance to pay the remaining upkeep.

All that for nothing... What a shame...

EDIT: On the bright side, no more upkeep for me! ;)

Decommissioned mine after just 3 days, couldn't really think what I wanted to do with it but a week later I was just wondering what was ever gonna come out in game that I can spend all the credits I've earned on, maybe a ship or two hardly gonna notice the credits missing so I got another FC. I don't like the idea of upkeep but I have enough credits to keep it running for over 9 not that my patience with the game or the game itself is gonna last that long

Sadly, I know what I wanted to do with it, but all this bugs and QOL problems around the FC made me reconsider the viability of the FC as a support asset for now.

I need say that I had so far very good use for my FC and don't regret this purchase. It offers me much diverse and smoother play with reduced travel times and extra storage which allows me do things when I want to, and offers flexibility which was never possible before. I'm well aware about some of issues, I also contacted support due issues with liverly, but this game update definitelly was/is a good one (imo).

My biggest personal grievance is towards practically non-existing communication about reported issues. Like if there is no concept how to spread of informations about bugs correcting (unless it is "stay silent") and how to regularly inform players about issues which are to be primarily resolved ... just simple note in issuestracker reports would be enough (or at least MUCH better as what is now).
