Yeah, try not to lose the screws. Thanks, so I can start with OOTB (i.e. it just works).
Forgot to mention am left-handed so the controls on the left of the throttle are not really accessible.
Oddly I just brought some silicon grease, is there anything I need to be careful when using it (I guess not loosing screws would be good.
T.16000 pitch and roll are hall effect sensors and excellent. Twist is a weak point.
My biggest recommendation is getting the T16000 properly lubricated with a "silicone" lubricant, not a petroleum based one.
The left paddle is fixable....but....it involves taking apart the throttle head unit, which will stress that cheap wire harness....and eventually that fails too.Indeed, that's where my former T16000 break as well, after just a couple months. Then the throttle left paddle went away as well a short time after, so I switched to a logitech X56.
I actually liked the T16000 a lot while it worked, it was very confortable, more so actually than my current X56.

Except for that darn harness. Gah.One of the best things about the T16000M HOTAS set, is that individual components are sold separatly so they're cheapish to replace.

Man you had me going. A SEKRET T16000 PARTS SHOPPE! DO TELL!!!When I meant "components" I meant the joystick/throttle/pedals. "Components" was a poor choice of words.![]()
Actually, when it comes to the twist sensor on the FCS, you can get those as parts:Man you had me going. A SEKRET T16000 PARTS SHOPPE! DO TELL!!!
/ok, I'll stop hijacking the thread. Sorry, OP!
Actually, when it comes to the twist sensor on the FCS, you can get those as parts:
The original twist failed on my stick after about 4 months. The replacement has been going fine for about 18 months so far.
Well that's got my interest!
Are there any guides on how to go about actually replacing them in the stick?
