Crashing when trying to get into supercruise in Deciat system

Does anybody get disconnects / game crashes in Deciat system only?
I had crashes last week and couldn't get back into the game when I tried to leave Deciat or get into supercruise to travel to station or jump to another system.
I deleted saved and start anew 3 days ago and did a lot of missions and explorations in various system with no crashes or disconnects at all. 3 hours ago I received an invitation from Felicity and went to her home base to upgrade FSD and got stuck with multiple crashes again.
Does anybody have any idea what to do about this? I submitted a ticket and currently waiting for FD to respond I guess.
I tried logging back in without Horizons and the game puts me in orbit but once I try to engage FSD the game either crashes and gets disconnected giving me "Orange Sidewinder" error code.

Do you get an Error like Orange Sidewinder or Black Adder by any chance?

Sorry, missed the bit at the bottom.
These are known issues at the moment, it has been happening since the Fleet Carrier update with no indication of how long Fdev are going to fix it.

Try Logging out and closing your game launcher. Then restarting

Just a thought,

If you use the Steam version, have you attempted to validate your gamecache in game properties?

long shot but if it has been happening constant for 10 days maybe some underlying problem

Hey,

I've got the same issue at the moment. It seems to be intermittent, but just happened to me again as I was trying to leave Farsight Inc. and go into Supercruise, spent the entire night on Thursday after maintenance stuck as well. I've tried everything but re-installing so far, but can't see how that will help. Glad to know I'm not the only one though.

I've had some of these, purple kraits or whatever additional variants.
Mostly I can get out of trouble by restarting the game, switching mode to solo or some other variants. Get the supercuise / jump done and then move on again with the mode I was playing originally.

But then again your problem could be different of course, factors like the route the traffic flows from your PC over to the amazon datacenters. If I get too frustrated over too many repeating problems (internet quality) I do a full restart of all routers/wifi as well as PC.

In the end if you're totally stuck with a problem you may have leave a ticket on the Frontier support.

I've experienced the case where entering in-system supercruise gets to the 000:000 point, and there's no error but it never gets there. In the end I need to restart. However, this is in system LHS 37, which happens to be the main tritium selling system and so is always very busy. So it would appear that there is an issue caused by volume of data?

Same as above just intermitent last two days have to log out (PS4) and jump out of system and back in

Had in busy systems but also in my home which is quiet

5 days ago i submit the ticket regarding orange sidewinder error (with no response from Frontier) and finally today i menage to continue the game following some instructions on various forums.
First thing that i made was to go back on the base station and than exit the game complete.
Then i start game again in original Elite (non Horizon) to be sent to orbit automatically , because base game not support planetary landing.
once i was in orbit i did engage Hyperspace jump to another (any) system that I checked on left panel (need to find some system that is not obscured with planet)
AND THAT IS ALL.
Do not make mistake , like i did, and DO NOT ENGAGE supercruise because you will be stuck in orbit far away from the base and only solution will be self destruct.
Hope that this will be helpful to somebody.

Never had it crash on me yet, but I have had numerous instances of having to hang around in supercruise warmup for 30 seconds or so before finally making it since everybody and their dog acquired FCs. I do believe that the absolutely ridiculous prevalence of those new, "rare", persistent-across-all-platforms-whether-owner-is-online-or-not, FCs is playing merry hell with the matchmaker algorithm for instancing.

I just ran into the same issue last night (and today) in KUWEMAKI, another engineer system. I can jump into the system and get there, but I can't start supercruise in system without it getting stuck in the transition for a minute or two, then timing out. The only solution is to jump out of system, and then back in (if you still had unfinished business there). I have not run into this before (but I have read of others who have). I assume it's carrier related, but I have not had the same issue in other systems with more carriers than this.

It is really annoying though, so I feel for those who have had this problem often...

I am having similiar problems in Eurybia, an engineer system swamped by fc's at the moment. I'm interested to know how you jumped to another system as I seem to time out just the same as if I try to supercruise.

I tried supercruise several times to the same end, then gave up for the night and reboot then tried again the next day, same problem. I then decided to try jumping out of system, and that worked. I jumped back and landed at the engineer base (realizing that I didn't have the rep I needed for the level wanted... argh!), so I left and when going to supercruise, got stuck again. Tried Jumping, and it worked. So I guess that was a long way of saying "I don't know, jumping just worked for me"...

A few months ago I did have an issue where I kept getting stuck in jumps, but that was before the carrier update, and was not with engineer systems. I think that resolved itself after a few tries or a break for a day, I don't remember ewxactly.

Orange sidewinders due to tons of Carriers / tons of traffic in the system can be solved with closing the game by exiting to desktop, then restarting the game - so not quit to menu, but quit to desktop.
I tested it on both PC and XB. After that, the game magically works for a while.
Then if Orange Sidewinder appear again, rinse and repeat.

My personal theory is that their adjudicator server gets hammered badly, the infrastructure gets another instance of the adjudicator server up (they run in Amazon cloud, remember?) but the client does not automatically pick up the new adjudicator server and keeps trying the same hammered adjudicator server. And keeps failing.
So when you completely close the client and start again, it correctly connects to the new, not so hammered adjudicator server.
Probably bogus, but i still like it :D

I'm not sure if I saw a spinning sidewinder screen. I would initiate supercruise, it would count down, then when it hit 000.000, it would just sit there with the sound playing and the 'tunnel' animation going, but never actually transitioning to supercruise. After a min or so of that, the screen goes black and a small message pops up saying there was a problem connecting to the servers, or something similar. It's possible there was the spinny ship in the background of that last screen, but I don't remember seeing one. But a reboot didn't fix it for me. I didn't try exiting to desktop though, only to the main menu.
