Someone still has to manually pick the apple.
Saying you can buy an apple from a shop is more inline with discussing if you should be able to buy mats with credits, rather than discussing the "grind" of manually picking mats.
At the end of the day this is definitely a topic where people are going to sit on their side of the fence and I don't think either side can be swayed from their position.
Some people think it's grindy, some don't. Some people like Marmite, but marmite haters are not going to convince marmite lovers that they should start hating it.
Right, an here comes the marketplace again. ATM in ED theres no way a "farmer" can grind his apples and sell them to ppl that want the apple to trade for blackberries..
And dont start with abuse of anything.. we have FCs now

Yes but if they made the game world as inconsistent and illogical as Earth in the 21st century who would play.
The problem is that i don't want anything removed. I want things to be improved and diversified. Which you are apparently against. So where is the reason to be against progress. Everyone likes new content. No one says don't add things to the game. So why are you against getting more tools for the job at hand. Why not get different srv, srv equipment. Anything that helps?
The same people that say it is not necessary and that they don't do it are the same people that want the thing to stay like it is. It makes no sense.

Because not everyone finds it such a hardship? I’m not denying that some do, but you can’t state an opinion as fact and tell anyone who feels contrary that they’re wrong and expect the conversation to go well...

So what you’re looking for, is not discussion, but agreement?
What does and does not change, while subject to the whims of the community to an extent, is ultimately a decision for the devs. If they don’t want to include a player driven market (at this point we don’t know if they are planning to or not with Odyssey) then the game won’t. Shouting at people to agree with you on here won’t change that fact.

Actually lots of people have said don’t add new things to the game, Fleet Carriers being just one example.

Your solution isn’t one that is necessarily the best, or the only one, regardless of what you may think of it. Player-driven markets are open to the exploits of real-world cash money changing hands for in-game goods, which I and I suspect the devs may think is A Bad Thing.
Edit: and as for ‘shouting’ talking down to and insulting those you’re trying to convince isn’t particularly, you know, convincing
