Yeah I get you.... there's always one... me in this case... tried relogging, even revalided game files... still nothing.. so all I could do is rant (now over it).

Oh, I had the same issue. You have to voodoo your way through the problems. Relog, jump out of the system and come back, sacrifice 5 bellugas and one dolphin, buy 2 hutton mugs to drop at Sag A, dock at a carrier to buy a srv hangar, and from there it's a 50% chance.
You may also skip steps 3 and 4. Step 2 is also optional, depending on the number of colored sidewinders nearby.
Step 5 is advised if for unknown reasons your game crashes everytime you get close to the planet.
This is another bit that makes me free associate towards "Odyssey preview content". That sabotage sounds suspiciously similar to the base hacking gameplay described in recent Odyssey coverage.
Hey so this might be a stupid question. But does it feel normal, that there is a Data point at the Serene Harbor and that it's making strange noise? I am pretty new, so I didn't scan many data points at other settlements, but I don't remember them making a noise. Might be worth some analysis?

I saw a guy in system chat say the distress signal had a potential 4800 systems as possible points of origin, I have no idea if that's right or not, although it seems too high. But this scattergun search design favours groups, rather than a puzzle which could potentially be solved by a single person, although those also favour groups. Can't really do much about it

1. NLMA has/had an advanced workshop hidden on LTT 1935
2. Boss there was working with corosive stuff, likely for the bombs
3. Crashed conda on 6 A has a goid sensor, seems to be somewhat corroded
4. (tinfoil hat) Conda was pointed towards Lavrador base, 1.4Mm away
I'll call sus on
lavrador base.
With the feds having won the concerned CG, there was no muscled search from the imperials, and feds have no reason to suspect or search their own.
I call on you other commanders who aren't as law abiding as I am, to get some muscled research done on site.
I mean, as far as I know it's not like we got anything better than do, other than wait for Cannon Research to do some more of the work for us.

The code for hand-placed (rather than pro-gen) items such as this Prison Colony I've seen from other posts/comments; remains very 'flaky' to say the least!!!
I got all the way out to R CRA AF-A D42 and did the FSS then went to planet 3 b... did the Surface Scan.... but it didn't work...it made all the right noises during the scan...but NO BLUE GRID...
Checked the Surface Scanner on other planets in the system and it works just fine...blue grid each time...
Back to the mysterious target planet 3 b.... BLOODY NOTHING!... no blue grid...no POI, no nothing... no way of partaking of this 'happening'..
every time.... I've played since Alpha and ED still manages to surprise me on just how many different ways it can 'fall over'.
I managed to find the facility, but when I scanned the data beacons, I ended up getting logs from an entirely different event. Girlfriend was with me and got the correct ones. I've been trying to figure out how they messed that up. Baffling.

That's the thing, the codex entries are the incorrect logs. I'm wondering what happens now if I go scan the beacons that should have given me those ones. Hope the codex isn't borked forever with missing stuff.
