Summary
System: Cemiess
Station: Mackenzie Relay (Orbis Starport, large pads available, 701 Ls from main star, 127.26 Ly from Sol)
Objective: Deliver Basic Medicines and Advanced Medicines
Time limit: 25th March 3307 @ 06:00 UTC

Description
Safeguard Interstellar requires deliveries of medicines to treat casualties from the NMLA’s recent terrorist attack.
CEO Noel Beaumont announced:
Hundreds of thousands of civilians still require urgent medical attention after being evacuated from the damaged stations. Many have severe caustic burns inflicted by the corrosive enzyme payload of the explosives. We have already exhausted the majority of supplies in nearby systems.
To reinforce overstretched health services, we request shipments of basic medicines and advanced medicines. These can be delivered to Mackenzie Relay in the Cemiess system.
Safeguard Interstellar has partnered with Lavigny's Legion to reward pilots and distribute the medicines.
If Tier 1 is reached, the top 75% of participants will receive a permanent Achenar system permit and a fully engineered size 3 class A Shield Generator with thermal and kinetic resistance. The module will be placed in storage at Mackenzie Relay in the Cemiess system by the 26th of March 3307.
The joint initiative will run for one week. If the final target is met earlier than planned, the initiative will end immediately.
To earn rewards, you must sign up as an active participant before handing in basic medicines and advanced medicines at Mackenzie Relay in the Cemiess system. Only commodities handed in after signing up will count toward your personal contribution total.
Be aware that faction-state changes and other disruptive events can negatively impact markets and station services, and could prevent the initiative from running smoothly.
Notes:
  • Station services: Commodities Market, Shipyard, Outfitting, Repair, Restock, Refuel
  • Prices at Mackenzie Relay:
    • Basic Medicines: 3,488 Cr/T
    • Advanced Medicines: 11,800 Cr/T

Just over 2 mill for 2 jump loop for basic meds in Cutter/T9..

can we get some clarification on the urgent question, whether "Hundreds of thousands of civilians" Noel Beaumont mentioned includes the enslaved in cemiess the system relies on so heavily according to its description in the galaxy map?

recent events make it unlikely, that "civilians" is a concept which is imperial at all, and the more imperial concept of citizenship makes it ambigous, whether the much needed help commanders are willing to go to great length for will reach imperial slaves, which have lost their status as full citizens according to lore.

i guess, many commanders don't want to be lured by a double engineered shieldgenerator, if their help does not reach the most vulnerable in cemiess.

any respond by Noel Beaumont or Aisling Duval on this matter would be appreciated!

Profits seem to be around an incredibly low 3k for basic medicines and 10k for advanced. Advanced stock is a pretty low base so the bubble may realistically run out of them or require 80+ ly jumps.

Nothing special mentioned for tier 2+ so only tier 1 for success matters lore-wise. So doing the bare minimum to stay at 75% so folks won't have a hard time doing so as well, and then moving on.

Hmmm... ofc the double-engineered module looks tasty at first sight, but then I'm wondering, what would you use it for? It's a regular "A" class, not a Bi-Weave... doesn't seem to be incredibly useful for PvE, let alone PvP.

You really need to add all double-engineered modules to the tech broker so those on vacation or who generally can't pay for a week can still get access to them. Gameplay aspects really shouldn't be available for only short windows.
Considering FDev went to the trouble of creating a completely new tech broker code path to sell the super-FSD, I strongly suspect that is the plan. They've hinted at engineering changes coming with Odyssey, so perhaps there will be new ways to get them too. Patience, grasshopper!

Hey @goemon - according to my sources the medication delivered will be distributed to all, whether they are indentured or not. At times like these, all in need will be helped, especially since Cemiess is Asling Duval's home system.

With thermal and kinetic resistance, combined with some apropriate shield boosters those shields are going to be nigh indestructible... imagine what it can do in an imperial courier with 4 utility slots...

You say that, but if it was, others would complain that FBS gives 0.05ly more range.we got the FSD with the absolute best range possible and that's pretty awesome. ^^
True, but it runs hot when charging, too hot for the T7, while shielded would actually lower heat. Low integrity is an issue as well when being shot at. Shielded as secondary blueprint would deal with that as well. PvPers would have probably liked a shielded/fast boot one. For an FSD all possible combinations are beneficial for individual use cases.
