Release Elite Dangerous HUD Mod (EDHM)

Yes of course! :) There's an option in the Startup-Profile.ini
okey where do paste my hud color when using this mod, because now is almost everthing in blue

<MatrixRed> 0.5, 0.2, 0.1 </MatrixRed>
<MatrixGreen> -0.7, 2, 2 </MatrixGreen>
<MatrixBlue> 1, -1.5, -2 </MatrixBlue>

Didn't find any information about that in the pdf-manual?

EDHM-DevMode-ON.bat
EDHM-Keybinds-Essential.bat
EDHM-Keybinds-Full.bat

I'v added

[ShaderOverride-89fe00881332dc43]
; Supercruise Speed Lines / Side Lines
Hash = 89fe00881332dc43
Handling = skip

to my custom.ini also

Kind regards
/e33et

You don't need to run any batch files to run the mod

Just follow the installation instructions in the manual (those batch files are mentioned in the manual for other purposes)

You don't need to add that code block for supercruise speed lines as it's already in the mod

You turn them off in Startup-Profile.ini .. that's in the manual as well :)

Please read the manual, it will help a lot.

There are 5 colour profiles installed in the mod with different colours, it's on about the 2nd page of the manual

If you'd like to create your own profile please read the EDHM-v1.5-Profile-Guide.pdf

Well that's a little bit complicated to configure correctly but truly an astonishing thing you did, thank you very much. :)

Just a little curiosity: as I asked you in a previous post before. I would like to select the "synth-green" you used for the CHUB in other elements of my HUD, is it possible to edit (for example) the light green in some way?

Thank you again for your amazing job!

There isn't a way to edit the pre-set EDHM colours (we tried creating a UI tool and it doesn't work because the colour channels aren't consistent)

You'll need to create an XML that matches the green colour you want and then apply it to the elements on the HUD or panels. I can help you match the colours later tomorrow if you like, but in the meantime I recommend the Manual and Profile Guide

Maybe could you please post a screenshot so I know exactly the colour you mean, and where else you would like that colour?

Hi, the point of this update is to put colours on the panels :)

You might prefer to run the older version 1.41 which is still on the GitHib. It has basically the same features but no mod on the panels.

You might prefer to run the older version 1.41 which is still on the GitHib. It has basically the same features but no mod on the panels.

However, if you'd like to turn the mod off on the panels in v1.5 then:

Open Startup-Profile.ini in a text editor

Go to this section

View attachment 214130

And set x157 = 0

That will turn off the mod on all panels (you'll need to re-start Elite)

If you prefer to run 1.41 and need any help with that just let me know.
Uhm...okay. :D But not only the text panels have changed but also everything else is now blue (super cruise lines, the jump sequence text, etc...). I can't remember having them changed at all, and I also can't find any option for adjusting them in the catalogue.pdf. Is this a default EDHM setup? Now all of a sudden the panels and the FSD charge text are back to original, but the super cruise lines are still blue. The changes that I've done to the other elements (radar, distributor bars, lighting color...etc) are still there, like they should be. Is this a shader conflict or do I miss some keybindings for panels, charge text and super cruise lines?

Pardon me. My fault . I have just discovered this description of yours: "SHIFT F1 disables the mod. A second press disables the mod on the panels, but not on the HUD. A third press restores the mod to both panels and HUD. "

That got me confused. SO I guess I have to turn that off like you mentioned before.

The mod comes preinstalled with 5 colour themes. You can change the blue to other colours, it's on the second page of the manual.

If you turn off XML on the panels then the jump sequence charge indicator will be orange

There are options for supercruise lines, supercruise dust, normal flight dust in Startup-Profile.ini .. you can set them to show default Elite colours

Have a look through the Manual and Startup-Profile.ini, there lots of options in there

Already found it. This is amazing! Thank you and sorry for the inconvenience. ;)

Just finished setting up 1.5 to how I like it.
Ended up using the XML from radiant blue and tweaked it from there.
Very happy with the results, though two extremely minor nitpicks.
The landing reticle dot doesn't have many colors. My last setup had a red dot on 1.4 but I don't have that option anymore, anyway I can set a color myself?
And 2. Night vision, could use a plain white version, I did this myself in 1.4 when trialling the beta shader for that and cane out quite good, but not sure where to change it now.

Just some suggestions.

I'll have to check out the landing reticle dot .. you don't mean the red mouse dot that's part of the reticle colour? Do you happen to have an old screenshot so I can see what you mean? Try cycling through the reticle colours with F7 just to make sure it's not that

I can make a white night vision for you easy peasy that integrates with 1.5 .. do you have the values you set?

Great work on the mod, have been using it for a while now and this version is awesome. I like the default orbit line colours for planetary bodies, great choice. The customised night vision is a nice touch too.

Is there an easy way to change the colours of the panel text , it's probably really obvious and I'm missing it

Great Mod! There seems however be a purple hue to some of the HUD text and I can't figure out what I need to change to correct it. It's mostly the text on the target information panel, and the hull percentage.

Yeah in Startup-ini there's text colour options. You can also choose XML text colour or custom text colour whereby you specify the RGB values. Because the text colour is an undercoat on the panels and the XML colour matrix is an overcoat then the text colour will be filtered by the XML, and unfortunately there's no way to avoid that
