CG predictions...

I'm honestly just surprised Mahon isn't leading. Rare goods vs Starports should easily go to the Starports. It makes me wonder whether people read the fine print...
Shiny bling next week might be over compensating as VO sell for more than tritium after all...
but as you stated CG don't pay max price they sell based on average price with a bonus multiplier on top added for items normaly so thats going to be lower than Web site stated prices for mining CGs normaly...

Is that why kaines crushing it over laser mining...

Probably just the new stations, but those backers are hauling their fair share to be sure, think some small ships must be helping Kaine, I saw an Asp helping out. Still waiting to find an Alliance player backing Mahon. There must be some.

Just to mention:
The thargoid attacked Oracle is falling and accelerating towards the planet its orbiting. Numerous players are on the station and waiting for what will happen (source: Canonn). Either its a bug or a new content nobody knows.
Also thargoids are attacking a bubble system now (HIP 16538), thats the system where the Aegis megaship "Alexandria" left from Delphi (following it?).

As I mentioned it in my post a bit earlier:

Thargoids Pursue Aegis Megaship

21 MAY 3307
Pilots Federation ALERT
The Alexandria megaship has jumped from Delphi to the HIP 16538 system, triggering a Thargoid attachk.
The megaship is carrying large quantities of Guardian artefacts, which were delivered as part of a research programme by Aegis.
Captain Jacob Morales, commanding officer of the Alexandria, has broadcast an SOS:
“This is an emergency! We scheduled a stopover in HIP 16538 for tritium refuelling en route to the Sol system, but Thargoid interceptors came swarming in within minutes. We require immediate assistance!”
Admiral Aden Tanner, chief military liaison for Aegis, announced:
“We believe that the Thargoids are reacting to the concentrated presence of Guardian technology stored within the Alexandria’s cargo holds. Not only has the attack placed its crew and the population of this system in danger, but we risk losing these extremely valuable research materials.”
“Aegis is asking anti-xeno squadrons and independent pilots to help destroy all Thargoid vessels within HIP 16538 and protect the Alexandria.”

There's an obvious question here:

1) They wanted the Guardian artefacts to be in Sol.
2) There aren't any Guardian sites in the Pleiades so they were being brought from several hundred LY away to the Alexandria.
3) So ... why not just have the CG in Sol or (for permit issues) Barnard's Star?

Presumably attracting a substantial Thargoid presence and dragging them through the bubble to a Federal refinery with more population than the entire Pleiades combined was the plan all along, as a way to convince the Federation that funding AEGIS is still necessary.

Hadrian Duval Allegations Declared ‘Inconclusive’

21 MAY 3307

Evidence that Imperator Hadrian Augustus Duval masterminded the NMLA terror campaign cannot be authenticated, according to ACT.

Inspector Mara Klatt, one of ACT’s joint leaders, delivered this report:

“We have rigorously analysed data provided by the Landgrave of Mudhrid that contains detailed instructions from Hadrian Duval. The content undoubtedly arranges the starport bombings, but its source is inconclusive. It now seems highly plausible that his identity was faked by the NMLA.”

Hadrian Duval made an announcement via the Paresa News Network:

“There can no longer be any doubt that the NMLA planted a false trail in order to incriminate us. They aim to slay every Duval and demolish Imperial traditions, a goal that the Federation is clearly happy to support.”

“Lady Astrid and I are deeply grateful to the Nova Navy, and all the other pilots who helped to defend our honour.”

The Federal Diplomatic Corps confirmed that the League of Mandu, which was defeated by Nova Imperium, will withdraw from the Paresa system but made no reference to ACT’s report.

Praetor Leo Magnus, head of security for Nova Imperium and a former IISS officer, has been seconded to ACT. He will serve as a replacement for the deceased Captain Niamh Seutonia.

Seems kinda cop-out-ish.

Agreed, if only they had the Fed surveillance program we might have an actual answer. When Cmdrs can find a specific signal in a star system from an LP in 'that area somewhere' they do seem a bit behind the times.
Nope that fed junk is there to erase evidence before its get mass released showing this has all been a fed backed action all along... hay I typed alot more tha..........

From the GALNET discussion thread about ACT confirming Hadrian's innocence:

I kinda doubt that the Empire will let this unwarrented act of aggression slide so easily. Once the more pressing issues have been taken care of (read: NMLA and the renewed Thargoid threat) I'm pretty sure both the Emperor and the Senate will respond to this somehow.

Emperor and Senate respond by hiding the evidence showing they were the Imposter contact all along who freed Theta 7? And a CG to hide the evidence or expose it?

I'd say with the recent Thargoid activity, it's expected that Mahon will remain Alliance President.
(That and, I don't think they have plans to update ED history and the Alliance jpeg to have Kaine just yet.)

And as far as the Empire and the NMLA. Even if it isn't Hadrian himself, there are certainly some inside actors within the Empire that are pulling some strings for the NMLA.
Theta 7 and the secrecy of Serene Harbor show that the Empire has some dirty laundry they've been trying to hide.

Now that the cargo ships are able to transfer via FC to stock pick up location, the current CG went in to overdrive for Edmund Mahon, Tier 1 was passed and its speeding along to tier 2, kaine support is now looking to now have issues even reaching tier 1 target...
Distance for high price items with short distance to station has slowed both CGs down as those looking for money not just cargo have to do an addition 2 jumps now... those doing cargo only still dont... as high price items move to >35 lyrs...

...looks like the Federal Navy has come to the same conclusion, too, and isn't playing along.

Galnet said:
The Alexandria megaship has been warned that it faces destruction if it attempts to travel to any Federal system.

The Aegis-owned vessel triggered a full-scale Thargoid incursion when it arrived in the HIP 16538 system. This seemed to be a reaction to the huge quantities of Guardian artefacts currently stored within its cargo holds.

Captain Jacob Morales, the Alexandria’s commander, broadcast this message:

“The Federal Navy has instructed us not to resume our scheduled journey to Sol or enter any system within the Federation. They’re treating us like a plague ship! I understand their concern that more Thargoids will follow us, but we have several thousand crewmembers who need to reach safe harbour.”

A strategy was outlined by Admiral Aden Tanner, chief military liaison for Aegis:

“We are attempting to clear the HIP 16538 system of Thargoid vessels, greatly aided by independent pilots and anti-xeno squadrons. The megaship will then jump to a system with a minimal population, where we will offload its cargo.”

Aegis has reiterated that the option to jettison the Alexandria’s cargo is a last resort, since the Guardian artefacts are vital to its research programme and cost billions of credits to acquire.

(to be picky, HIP 16538 is a Federal system - but it won't be for much longer as an independent PMF has just shown up)

Next week's CG something to do with protecting the Alexandria while it offloads cargo, perhaps?

Next week's CG something to do with protecting the Alexandria while it offloads cargo, perhaps?
Should not be this weeks CG, This weeks should be the Laser mining CG offered as the reward from current CG... But due to the bugs returned they might delay that as disconnects via mining have increased due to the old bugs so they could sneak that in instead...
