You know the answer to that. How many chapters are there meant to be in SQ42 ?

Scary - after almost 10 years we are still awaiting the end of chapter 1. I will need a second life.I believe CIG are aiming for Chapter 7.
Chapter 7 - Bankruptcy Basics
Alternatives to Chapter 7Debtors should be aware that there are several alternatives to chapter 7 relief. For example, debtors who are engaged in business, including corporations, partnerships, and sole proprietorships, may prefer to remain in business and avoid liquidation. Such debtors should...www.uscourts.gov
Recovering and loading each bullet does seem overly picky for a videogame. What next, movement is slowed if you get a pebble in your space boots, until you can take them off and remove it?So milsim rp'ers can sit around, talk crap and fill their magazines while they talk about all the things they'll be able to do in current year+2.
But really though, what kind of wussy low grade sim doesn't also let me strip my weapon down and put it back together blindfolded. Just weak really.![]()
Yeah, i remember having arguments with the Change Manager who thought developers should be available 24/7 to discuss any bugs or do support. I'd pushed for a single 2 hour block a day where telephones would not be answered, no walk-up "chats", and no meetings planned - times staggered, so there'd be cover - and that 1st/2nd line support should be like the first point of call for bugs, rather than going straight to devWhen you are coding you get into "the zone" as i call it. Where you become highly productive because you are totally into making it work. Nothing worse than being pulled out of the zone than stupid things like meetings, skype chats, etc. But you can recover from those and they are a fact of life in any company.

She went mental about impacting their workflow, etc.
It's just too easy for some companies to over-process, with the result that coding never gets done.
Even better was when DevOps started to get talked about, which would have adjusted her overly ITIL ways, i thought she was going to go full Violet Beauregarde (WIlly Wonka) on us
So, in theory, is Squadron 42 out before the main game then?
Google throws up the usual results, but then there's the stuff those closer to the game might have heard.
Worthy read.If I had to guess, it would be that it was a reference to this:
Frontier you have lost me as a customer (Updated to make no mention of a nono topic that can only be talked about in a single thread and nowhere else)
When I first heard of Elite: Dangerous it was interviews talking about resurrecting one of the oldest space games out there, David Braben telling fantastical stories about flying down on to jungle planets, getting out of your ship to go big game hunting for alien dinosaurs. Interviews with demo...forums.frontier.co.uk
Good one.hoping there is something that makes the desynch less worse.
not gonna be greedy and hope desync is fixed.
That's complete nonsense. They've becoming closer as development unfolds.
It's not the opinion of experienced Star Citizen players that worries me, it's the experienced Elite players ones because those aren't tied by sunk cost fallacy like the SC ones.
Agree, sadly that says more about Elite's current state than Star Citizen.Sadly it's not the thread to talk about that.
Any particular game isn't for everyone. Thinking of leaving any game for Star Citizen in 2021 is LOL.
Unfortunately, yes.Agree, sadly that says more about Elite's current state than Star Citizen.
Sadly, not the thread to talk about Elite's state. Even though you desperately desperately want to.Agree, sadly that says more about Elite's current state than Star Citizen.
Large framerate drops in most areas of Orison
Actually, it just identifies people who are susceptible to scams. It's a teaching moment!Unfortunately, yes.
It's mostly acceptable for Alphas, not so much for games sold as released and finished. Early access on the other hand...Awww. Not for Elite players then, since apparently frame drops in an alpha is unacceptable.
