Ya know it always seems to be the people that have hyper hardware that say they don't have any problems but the entire point is this usually turns into a cockfight with hardware, mine is bigger than yours ha ha. Maybe you guys should think about those that don't have the cash for a $3000+ platform, which really isn't the case with the problems.
A platform runs perfectly and then a new addition comes out and now there are nothing but problems for the majority of players. Just think about it before the cockfights break out.
Odyssey's lack of proper testing is the problem to you that are having problems, NOT you're hardware.

Will get some comparison FPS results from Elite Odyssey U5 later.

The reason being, your Odyssey results seem pretty similar to mine, and that really shouldn't be the case... Your rig should be annihilating mine!

I haven't done much in the way FPS CZs since around patch 3. Ventured over to the CG system for some ground CZ and... Wow, it was abysmally bad. As bad as I've ever experienced and consistently so. I'm talking about 10-20fps for extended periods.

Went with Heaven for consistency as that's what @BL1P used, and it's a DX11 test like ED.
It's probably not a bad idea to give us all a baseline. A 'benchmark' if you will

https://benchmark.unigine.com/heaven - it's still a pretty good benchmark programme. If you set it to the same values as the OP, we can get a good benchmarkto compare in-game performance with out of game performance.

It's a benchmarking program. It's old but that means it's "relatively" lightweight and consistent. The settings you should use for the test are in the results that Lucian Arkright posted.

So, just did a very quick wander around a nearby settlement - All Graphics Options set to match OP (Basically Ultra, Borderless 1080x1920 with Bloom and Blur turned off)

Average FPS on foot, at the settlement was >20 but <30
Station Hanger was around 50
In Space between 70 and 140 depending on where.

lmao, and not only that, often enough these rich kids don't even know how to properly install and configure their hardware, resulting in $3000+ systems that perform more like $1000 systems...

but yeah egos are egos.. i want a rubber ducky bobble head dash ornament and i want it now! one with QQ eyes preferrably, what you devs waiting for!?... mush!

For the results to be 'equal', yes - although it would also be interesting to see the results at native resolution if higher than 1080.

That's the thing, a 980 is about the same as a 1060 in most games and benchmarks, and a 1060 is 'recommended' for 1080 gaming according to the listed Odyssey specs.
