Some don't seem to accept that their desires aren't the only considerations to be made.It is them who need to blend in, not the other way around.

The Solo/PG could be considered as the same as they force everyone involved in BGS/PP to run the BGS/PP grinding indeed of destroying ships until one of the conflicting sides surrenders or is back into sidewinders. No, it’s people trying to force others to play a game the way they want it. The majority of comments in threads like these, that are calling for open only, prove that.
It could be, apart from the fact that other players are optional in the game we all bought whereas experiencing and affecting the shared galaxy is something that everyone does, regardless of game mode. The Solo/PG could be considered as the same as they force everyone involved in BGS/PP to run the BGS/PP grinding indeed of destroying ships until one of the conflicting sides surrenders or is back into sidewinders.
Then "shared galaxy" has to be removed. Let's have different modes as initially designed, but don't allow solo/pg players exploiting these modes to affect the game of who plays in open.It could be, apart from the fact that other players are optional in the game we all bought whereas experiencing and affecting the shared galaxy is something that everyone does, regardless of game mode.
Put differently, those who wish to directly oppose others in game features can only do so when the other players choose to play with them - and there's no requirement for them to do so.
Solo/PG could be considered the same by people who know nothing about BGS. Luckily there are none of those around here though. The Solo/PG could be considered as the same as they force everyone involved in BGS/PP to run the BGS/PP grinding indeed of destroying ships until one of the conflicting sides surrenders or is back into sidewinders.
The shared galaxy was announced as part of the game design at the same time as the three game modes that share it. There was only ever going to be one galaxy state. Then "shared galaxy" has to be removed. Let's have different modes as initially designed, but don't allow solo/pg players exploiting these modes to affect the game of who plays in open.
This is another misconception. First, each platform has an organised PvP community/discord/systems where PvPers meet up and shoot each other, arrange tournaments, events, tours etc so a way out for such has been found. As for affecting the game; as said before I'd love to see "Open-PvP" made into a separate galaxy. The salt when it filled with tumbleweed would be epic.
Splitting the galaxy and giving a new Open mode its own non-shared copy to affect would be the equitable solution, in my opinion. There would need to be no ability to transfer assets between the galaxies though - as if it were possible it would offer the opportunity for trivial exploitation. As for affecting the game; as said before I'd love to see "Open-PvP" made into a separate galaxy. Exactly, that's a game design fault. The shared galaxy was announced as part of the game design at the same time as the three game modes that share it. There was only ever going to be one galaxy state.
Whether it's a fault or a feature rather depends on ones preference, or lack thereof, for PvP - and, as we all bought the game as it is, rather than as it is not, that means that those who want to force those who affect the galaxy to play in the same game mode as them did not buy a game that supports their gameplay preference. Those who don't want to engage in PvP are free to affect any game feature (apart from CQC, of course) as the game design supports their gameplay preference.Exactly, that's a game design fault.
It could just as logically be argued that you are "exploiting" the game by munchkining your ship exclusively for combat since no civilization in history has ever existed exclusively through fighting. Then "shared galaxy" has to be removed. Let's have different modes as initially designed, but don't allow solo/pg players exploiting these modes to affect the game of who plays in open.
You don't make any sense. If Solo/PG have such a great advantage why don't you go play in Solo/PG. What you just said is a pile of crap. The Solo/PG could be considered as the same as they force everyone involved in BGS/PP to run the BGS/PP grinding indeed of destroying ships until one of the conflicting sides surrenders or is back into sidewinders.
You should be removed because you and two of your buddys are the only once who think so. Like I said before, special server for PvP only, that is your only choice because Open, Solo and PG stays together. Then "shared galaxy" has to be removed. Let's have different modes as initially designed, but don't allow solo/pg players exploiting these modes to affect the game of who plays in open.
Indeed, my most used ship is a bi-weave Python... go figure. The same does my 12yrs daughter who never bothered of being kaboomed by random enemies. It could just as logically be argued that you are "exploiting" the game by munchkining your ship exclusively for combat since no civilization in history has ever existed exclusively through fighting.
Even the Norse and their Viking ways tended to settle into family ways in Ireland and Scotland.
As I've said, there's no need for a PvP server as its already in the game. And the argument has slowly slipped into discussing about fencing some activities and features behind open play mode, namely PP which is something that has been asked/confronted/discussed in thousands of posts in this sub (so it's not me and two buddies). You should be removed because you and two of your buddys are the only once who think so. The single galaxy server supports all three game modes - modes which are simply matchmaking filters which select who one may encounter based on the player's choice of game mode.As I've said, there's no need for a PvP server as its already in the game. The advantage is to stay hidden, we don't hide. You don't make any sense. If Solo/PG have such a great advantage why don't you go play in Solo/PG. What you just said is a pile of crap.
.... and no player requires to play in the same game mode to affect the game features contained in the shared galaxy, in this game, by design....The advantage is to stay hidden, we don't hide.
Ok, but wasn't said by some FDEVs they were thinking about open only powerplay? (That's what I was referring to).The single galaxy server supports all three game modes - modes which are simply matchmaking filters which select who one may encounter based on the player's choice of game mode.
If there's perceived no need for a separate galaxy supporting PvP then those seeking PvP will require to share the existing shared galaxy with every other player.
