I went to visit the limpet controller engineer, the Sarge. There are no engineering options for the new modules. Is this just something you forgot to do? 150t is a lot of weight.
Thanks.They didn't forget. Sally said![]()
Yup. C7 is okay for me, but the C3s are weird. And pretty much destroy and agile/fast small ship and greatly impact explo jump range. The limpets mass are insane.
Wait what? They added new modules and prevented engineering on them? Or meaning they are just bugged? They didn't forget. Sally said![]()
The first one.Wait what? They added new modules and prevented engineering on them? Or meaning they are just bugged?
BwahahahahahahahahahahahaThe first one.
I like how they forgot to mention you can't engineer them in the same post where they said that they'll be more clear about whether or not modules can be engineered (granted, that was about pre-engineered modules, but still). Those weight penalties and lack of engineering is just insane...
They're not much better on an exploration Anaconda either, the 3D Rescue variation makes me drop almost 6 LY in jump range as opposed to 0.5 LY for both the 3D Repair LC and the 3D Fuel Transfer LC (and I don't really know why "Rescue" has hatch breakers either).Hmmm ... yet another W T F moment in Odyssey. These are useless on any sort of small-medium explorer or mining ship.
Wait, they made a 52 ton class 3 limpet controller that can't have lightweight engineering applied? They didn't forget. Sally said![]()
