It's hard for me to write anything negative here.
But my patience is at an end.
Without consulting my clan, since many are still working, I already know that everyone will be disappointed, because our wishes and suggestions, which were in agreement with many other players here in Elite, were taken into account maybe even 5%! If they were read at all. I haven't tested everything in the patch notes yet, but what I see here on my carrier is enough for me. And that leaves me speechless. No one who would program such a carrier or aircraft carrier bridge would develop the captain's chair / seat without a monitor that can be operated while sitting and has all the functions! No possibility for managed group play such as an OPS for a navigator or goods transfer manager etc.... No imagination, although so many movies show extremely many examples of how it can be done. So I'm sitting on my/our carrier, I can't assign tasks, jobs, rights etc to any player, there is no way yet for goods to be moved from players to the warehouse or money to be deposited on the carrier and while I'm bored out of my mind I'm thinking how to cover the rising cost of new modules for the carrier due to lack of revenue. That with about 1000 carriers in the immediate vicinity of systems where anything takes place at all, a player will naturally buy, trade or drop something on our carrier, every carrier and station in the area has that too and possibly cheaper. No monitor on the captain's seat!?
I don't even want to talk about the other techniques like jump planning and range, etc. So as soon as the money of the carrier is used up, this will probably end up in the scrap press. So much effort and stress for too little fun and immersion. If we want that, we'll go out the door to reality. But there I don't have to leave my second car when the trunk in my first car is full!!! We want to be picked up in a fantasy world with lots of "wow" technology built in. I personally will not be writing any more bug reports or sending suggestions to Frontier. Disappointed and tired.
