Lots of groups have had an interest in Leesti over the years.

Back in 3302 or 3303, I was part of a major BGS operation to throw out the hated Justice Party Of Leesti, and return Independent Leesti For Equality to governance.
Very nice video!
Liked them goode ole days where such efforts were put in to promote a single operation! :)(y)

I post as a leading member of a much respected faction within the "Old Worlds". Leesti has great significance for our faction and many others in our region of space.
I understand that many of you find it amusing since you have no interest in the BGS but for those of us that do, the "old Worlds" and the storylines within them are far more interesting when created by player interaction. When FDev come piling in with their story arcs that go nowhere, on whims created by employees that have no genuine investment in the outcomes, thousands of player hours are wasted on trying to revert their meddling.
Why do we care?
Because this is what playing this game means to us.
It's not about asking FDev to stop meddling. All we ask is that they include our actions, past and present in their considerations when they dream up their story arcs.
Leesti, Lave, Arque, Tionisla, Diso, Reidquat and many other "Old World" systems have been the subjects of many wonderfully epic faction wars, involving sometimes entire collectives of Alliance, independant, imperial and Federal factions, often involving hundreds, if not thousands of commanders. These stories, won or lost, will be told amongst those of us involved, for years.

Well I would think running BGS ops is as important, or unimportant, as playing this game itself, aye?
Some enjoy themselves doing it, no matter how measly the rewards are :)
Oh, certainly some players 'enjoy' it... Then complain because other players are 'enjoying it' in opposition to their own efforts?

It has been fun in Leesti for the last week or so, but a vagrant like me doesn't stay too long in one place, apart from Carcosa, naturally.

As far as I'm aware, there have been no complaints here about other players competing in pursuit of their own objectives. That's what the game is all about, aye?
What we are discussing here is "divine intervention" by FDev and what it sometimes does to the community. You might like to re-read Dharrch Streynjer's lucid post to get an idea why in some cases, some players are offended.

I am posting as a single cmdr not respected at all everywhere. You are not able to deal with some Sirius supporting Cmdrs, but wanted your actions to be recognized by FDev as far to include them in the games narrativ? Is this a just a provocantive joke or Hybris?

They 'meddle' every day - it is called BGS
All we ask is that they include our actions, past and present in their considerations when they dream up their story arcs.
Why? Players are meant to be insignificant in the 'grand scheme'.

Reidquat is one place where players wrecked the lore because they could. Why are you not complaining that Frontier didn't intervene with the "hand of god" there?

Lucid, yes, biased, certainly!

I have no idea where you got the idea that we can't deal with Sirius supporters. When did anything I, or anybody else posted, give you that impression?
If we only had you and your fellows to contend with, I am almost certain that we and our many allies, would win. However if we lost then so be it. At least it would be a fair contest.

Player interaction, yours and mine, is what this game is all about. If you had placed Sirius in Leesti that would be different, but you didn't. You didn't even ask for it, and why would you.

This is the third time i am telling you guys that i am ganking your precious BGS in all available alliance systems where Sirius is present. And i am not alone. Allways watch your back... from the desert comes a stranger for you 🤠

I begin to wonder where your arguments are taking you.
I would never complain that FDev didn't interfere. Quite the opposite. However if they did, I ask that they do so with player accomplishments in mind. After all it's us paying thier salaries by playing this game.

They aren't taking me anywhere, I'm right here, still.

Are you? Truly? How much are you donating each month to pay these salaries?

You bought a game for pennies (in the grand scheme of salaries over 10 years), maybe a few cosmetics along the way.
